Allen Schoppe 12/16/2020

I received phone call from "V-Tech Solutions" indicating that I would be charge $249.99 to renew antivirus for my computer. I don't have an antivirus! I called, lady with heavy Indian accent was rude and told me that I should let my computer be be activated remotely for cancellation of antivirus. At that point, I hung up. Has anyone been charged from this scam?

Received a call from 327-520-1583 saying Vtech had renewed my anti-virus for $249 and if I wanted a refund I had 24hrs to call. I called and an Indian accent man answered I asked what the company was and what they do. He explained computer protection. I told them I don't own a computer and he hung up. Has anyone seen charges?

I got a telephone message from 844-923-3075 that V Tech was running on my computer and I needed to renew or it would be taken off. When I called them back they said I could not do anything about it. It was running on my computer. Can you put a software program on my computer without me knowing it?

I also received a call stating the 249.99/24-hour notice from v-tech. I will not call back.
1-786-980-4013 was the call back number. Scam! I wish there was more we can do with these phone calls.

They left a VM on my home phone that stated," I would be charged a fee of 299$ if I did not call 8555907473 and cancel my antivirus service within 24 hr.". I never ordered a service with anyone by that name so I went to the net to search for the latest scams. I will report it to donotcall.gov and erase the message.

I got a voicemail that said it has been a year and VTech solutions has charged me $249.99 and if I wanted a refund I had to call. Well I did and it was someone that had a very heavy India(n) accent it was a 855 index . So I said I would call back but never have and won't. I guess it's that time of year so my bad for calling back!

Alex Peter from VTech Solution called and threatened a $249.99 charge for antivirus security renewal unless we call to cancel within 48 hrs of him leaving the message. Number he called from was 843-243-6208 based out of St Johns, SC. He stated the call back # was 231-743-3288, Travers City, MI. He stated the call was to renew a antivirus, which in checking with our phone company they do not have nor charge for a antivirus. This was a roboo call.

Same as others call message says I will be charged 249.99 unless I call and cancel. The message was incomplete so I called the 308-318-2599 number it eventually picked and the V Tech person Shane was busy and to leave a message. My question now is has anyone actually seen a charge from this company?

Received a call, From 281-842-2258, left a message stating that "We have charged you $249.99 and within 24 hours you will see a charge from the V-Tech Solution if you want to cancel the subscription and want a refund then please call 213-370-3721. Cancellation should be done within the 48 hours upon receiving this confirmation call. Thank you, This is Sam Smith customer relationship manager.

I call the 281-842-2258, back and it went to a magic jack number that was not hookup. I called 213-370-3721. and told him that i am not cancelling any thing and that his number will be going to fraud control for investigation and he hung up on me.

I received a call from V-Tech Solutions about a subscription that would be charged for 299.99 if I didn't call back within 48 hours to cancel the subscription. It was a robocall and I know it was BS. I just let them talk to my answering machine. My call back number for them was a 213 area code. Obviously a scam.

Either VTech or Dtech solutions contacted me by robo phone and threatened to take over $200.00 unless I contacted them
Then of course they don't answer the phone
they need to be investigated.

My answering machine had a msg. from 'Steve Smith @ VTech Solutions." He said hat if I "didn't fill out the cancellation form I would be charged $299.99 on my card and that amount was already on hold!" I have never had a virus protection by that name! I told him I was going to call the FTC and the WV Attorney General. Then he yelled ay me and told me to stop talking when he was talking. I said, "You better NOT charge any amt of money on any my cards!" He had a heavy Indian accent!

this seems widespread. Auto phone calls with synthesized voice saying a charge of $399.99 will be made if you do not cancel within 24 hours.
various numbers in my case it was local - probable spoofed 678 435 6315
Not responding; thought was scam from first listening to recording.
gave call back number 213-800-8341. Synth voice claimed to be Charles Smith, Customer Relationship Manager.
Notified real V-Tech Solutions. They appear to not sell products but provide consulting services. ironically to Fed Government agencies.

Caller left message on my landline that my account was going to be charged $399.99 in 48 hours unless I cancel the virus software. I don't have virus software. I tried to call the number back - the number worked but no answer and no voice mail.

I got a call from V tech Solutions, Manager Charlie Peterson, left a voice message that I will be charged $399.00 in 48 hours if I don't cancel the virus subscription. I call the 408-721-6968 number back. No answer, no voice mail. I am going to report this to the FCC. I live in 19446 zip code.

A voicemail using a computer voice was left informing me that I have been charged $399 to renew a 1 year subscription to V-Tech solutions antivirus. It said that I would need to call 208-310-8815 to cancel within 48 hours of this message from Jeff Morgan, manager. I have never subscribed to this company. I did not call them, but I did check my accounts and didn't see any charge from V-Tech or for that amount. I also did not get any notices from LifeLock.

they keep calling back and say that my card will be charged $399.00 and if I want to cancell press one and they say they can not cancell with out get into my CP
I dont think so this is a scam why would they need access to my cp to do this ?

I received an unsolicited automated phone call with the same MO as the other complaints listed here. The call l received was purportedly from V Tech Solutions regarding an automatic billing of $399 to be made unless I call back at 213 822 7257. I did call back but just to request they take me off their call list.

I got a call about a 399.00 charge if I do not cancel their service and when I got a hold of them they wanted to sign on to my PC remotely to deactivate it. The guys name was Ron Anderson who said he was the service manager. I felt it was a scam so I just hung up.
