V Tech Solutions Reports & Reviews (118)

A person claiming to be Shawn Marshall just made an unsolicited call to me saying that VTEC would charge my credit card $399 for anti-virus program. If i wanted to cancel the charge I needed to call 203-684-7718 within 24-48 hours. This is an obvious scam of some sort. I have no intention of returning it and should the charge appear on my credit card, I will challenge it.

I just received an unsolicited call from VTEC stating they were charging my credit card $399 for anti-virus protection. I had to call 203-684-7718 within 24-48 hours to cancel. The caller said his name was Shawn Marshall. I have had no contact with this company and did not order any anti-virus program from them. I have no intention of returning the call. To whom can I report this scam?

I received a robotic call (not from a human being) that stated that my anti-virus protection provided by V Tech Solutions has been automatically renewed for the term of one year. Consequently, $399.00 would be deducted from my bank account if I didn't call them back within 48 hours. The robot identified himself as **, Customer Relations Manager. I received this call at 12:32 pm on 04/17/20. The number that showed up on my caller ID was (800) 436-7916. When calling that number back, they identify themselves as ** Service's old, disconnected phone number which is no longer in use.

This automated call will leave messages on my machine stated they will charge my credit card $399.00 if I do not cancel with them in 24 hours. I have been dealing with this company for over two years and spoke with them twice and I ask they remove my name and stop calling me. They claim they cannot remove my information unless I allow them access to my computer.

I received a voicemail telling me that they were going to charge me $399.00 unless I call 804-999-2720.

I did not order any product or services from this company. I did not call this number so that my identity would not be stolen.

The person did give their name as Sean Martin.

Received a robo call from "Vtech Solution" that a $399 service was renewed, that is unknown to me. I received a call from "Vtech Solutiuon", phone number 1-840-882-1369, that they had renewed some $399 a year service that I clearly never signed up for. That I had 48 hours to call and cancel. Total scam I'd bet, designed to collect more info on me or talk me into purchasing something. The computer voice said it was "Denis Wilson". Monitoring my credit cards just in case.

I got the same call as these other and they wanted me to go onto my computer so thAt I COULD CANCEL. I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE THEM ACESS TO MY COMPUTER. SHOULD I JUST IGNORE THIS WHOLE THING OR CAN/WILL THEY CHARGE ME $399.? Pleaser Advise TY

A company called VTech left a message on my mothers phone that a charge of $399 to renew antivirus service for her computer would be charged to her checking account. Said if did not want to renew this service to call them back at (408)8188570 within 48 hrs to cancel. This message was left by "Joseph Smith" customer relationship manager. I returned call got no answer and left message. "Joseph Smith" did call back within 10 minutes. "Joseph" continued to argue that my mom had a computer with their antivirus service that had been renewed and if wanted it cancelled to get on her computer and he would tell me how to go about cancelling credit back the $399 charge.

I asked how he would know my mom had a computer (which she does not... she is 88 yrs old and has never had one) and he said because of the serial numbers and other info they receive from the store purchased from info they can get from the FCC.

After I told him my mom did not have a computer he continued to argue that she did. So I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said because of my tone of voice I was not allowed to speak to a supervisor. I asked how he would charge my moms bank account without having her acct info. He then proceeded to tell me the charge had already been taken out of her banking acct and to have it credited back she would have to cancel within 48 hrs. ( Funny...earlier he said she had 48 hrs to cancel otherwise her checking acct would be charged.) I questioned him many times about the legitimacy of the phone call and most scammers would hang up but he stayed on the defensive and continued to argue. He gave me another name "Ryan Johnson" to call

at (231) 8289311 between 8-4 California time to cancel service and said please have your computer. Needless to say NOT calling any of these losers back!

This company has contacted me several times trying to run this scam on me. They want 399.00 or me to cancel my subscription to their company, V-Tech Solutions. David Thompson, customer service representative....

I don't own a subscription to V-Tech Solutions. Also, I'm waiting to see a 399.00 charge on my credit cards... because they have been calling me for about 3 months and I have not seen anything.

Consumer called in and relayed the following information:

They received a call and a message from a company claiming to be VTech Solutions. The caller ID gave the phone number (231) 821-6500 and said it was in Blytheville, AR. However, when the number was Googled it came up as a number in Grand Rapids, MI. The message claimed that the consumer was going to be charged $399.00 to renew a computer protection program. According to the message the consumer has 48 hours to cancel the service and the business requests a call back. Consumer stated they did not order any service through this company, they purchased their protection from Best Buy when they bought the computer and they renewed their protection service a couple of weeks ago. Consumer refused to call the number back and called ScamPulse.com to report this incident.

I received a phone call that I would be charged 399.99 if I did not call the number indicated. I called because I didn't know what it was for. I got an individual that identified himself as Ryan Harris at 786-530-8706. He took control of my computer without my consent, I don't know how he did it. Than he wanted to refund me 400.00 and to open my bank account and make note of my balance so I would know when he deposited it. I didn't want to do that and told him so but he said he couldn't see any of my information. He downloaded a file to my computer which I have now uninstalled and we lost electricity and he said he would call me back the next day. They called at 3:30 AM, 3:35 AM again at 7:30 AM and at 10:00 AM. I told him I didn't want anything to do with them and I was reporting them to the police. They called at 2 AM this morning and said they were from the Dept of Justice. I am 81 and don't need this. I know I was wrong but now I am scared to death. I have changed my user name and password at my bank but I am still scared. I just want them to STOP and leave me alone.
