Slip left on door saying sorry we missed you and to call a number to see about package. Has last name and address on it.

- Sun City West, AZ, USA

They leave new residence a delivery slip which implies they have a package. When you call them at the confirmation number they start a spiel about free rewards. I hung up and discovered that this is just a scam to get your personal information that they then sell to advertisers.

Channel 15 news did a expose" on this company last month , please google Valley delivery scam .

Twice the man hung door hanger on the front door . First time at 5 AM in the morning , I thought this was suspicious .. Who tries to deliver a package at 5 AM ? Today was the second attempt , guy came to door without a package and left ' sticker on front door " Sorry we missed you " guy did not even knock or ring door bell . I have Ring.com with a camera on front door .

Man took off in a silver Nisan Arizona plates BZX4280 . I chased after him and confronted man about not having a package or paperwork in hand , also told him that Channel 15 news in Phoenix ran a program on his scamming company . Told man never to come to my house again trying to scam me . The man pulled out a gun and pointed it towards my head , I had to leave right away in fear of getting shot by this man . Please shut down these scammers .

My husband got a Sorry We Missed You post it note. I had previously seen this scam on the News. So I decided to call the number and get our information off of their list. When I call this lady was super defensive and kept saying that *** just purchased the house we lived in. I told her that he didn’t live here and asked how she got my information. She said she got it from public records. Turns out she got my husbands information when he purchased the house and they lie and say they have a delivery for you. Well according to the news, they do this to get your personal information. Lucky for me I’ve seen the News.

I know this is scam I saw it on the news

Valley Delivery left a notice of 'failed delivery - third time' on front door. Left a phone number and a access code.

Beware of this company! It was very obvious we were home, had a missed package delivery notice left on our door. I called the number & sat on hold a really long time. After wondering what it cpuld be I tried googling them. That's when I found a news story featuring the same package delivery slip! I looked on the back & sure enough there's a blurb on there they can share any information they collect. They use as a new homebuyer scam to try & sell services to you. There is no package.

I received this notice on my door instructing me to call the number and give the confirmation number. It had my last name and address on handwritten on the form. (Of course taken from public record, because we just built this home) Web search found this company to be a scam company named Metro Delivery that has been previously admonished by BBB, so they changed their name. If it is not a UPS, USPS, FedEx, or other legitimate notice, it is most likely a scam.

NOTE: I have received these same type of notices in the mail, as well. But, this is the first time the scammer has stepped foot on my property.

They leave multiple notices on your door for a delivery over several weeks that state "Sorry we missed you...". They call you and welcome you to the neighborhood and say they have a package for you. The person on the phone, Jane, is super friendly and trying to get you to verify information they have about you, such as your full name, address, phone number, etc. They stated that they are trying to deliver a certificate is from *** and that they are trying to show you home security services from *** *** ***. They ask pointed questions about when you are home and whether you have a security system that is active. They have all your information and come by your house multiple times at various times of the day. When you refuse, they try to email you their information and a "pdf". I reported this to the authorities, including the police, Attorney General, news station, etc. This is a known reported scam reported by *** News **.

We recently purchased a new home and within a few days of the closing we had a "sorry we missed you" slip appear on the door indicating that the company had been unable to deliver a package to us. Notably, this slip was not present on my door at 9PM the night before, and was present by 6:00AM the next day - indicating immediately that it could not possibly be legitimate. No legitimate business delivers packages overnight - only scammers who want to avoid the in-person confrontation that would have resulted, or who otherwise want a chance to look around my property during the night time when it is harder for homeowners to defend themselves. A brief googling confirms that this company - previously operating under the name of *** *** - now operating as *** ***, is a phishing scam company run out of Chandler. This company, and Mr. Cody G***, the listed CTO of the company, are phishing for consumers personal information with this scheme so that they can sell hapless people's information to companies that will then relentlessly spam those consumers. Not itself illegal, this company very likely steps over the line with its blatantly misleading "advertising" scheme which is clearly designed to mislead consumers who would otherwise never give their information to these degenerates.
