I searched and I found a few Jessica Chase profiles on Linkedin all in HR none of whom work in a shipping company. I became suspicious and knew it was a scam. So I replied being curious about what nature of the scam this was asking for more information and the company name.
I got a follow-up email from another email replying to the thread, who is supposedly another HR officer. Telling me the company name and sending me a contract to put my personal information and verifying my address with a utility bill.
So I did more research into the domain name. I Checked for grammar and professional errors and I saw none. I ran the check into the domain name and I realized the site was created A week from the time I received the email. The address was for a random house. All businesses within the vicinity were nothing related to shipping.
In the job description a fake IRS number and registration number was used. Additionally I ran a search on the email of the senior HR manager and I found other scam reports about this email.
Based on the job description and other similar reports, this is the angle of the Scam. They need you to receive certain item stolen or scammed, or they used credit card frauds to make purchases which they send to your address and you redirect the shipment to them making you the scapegoat for the fraud. The emplyment scam is one that makes you a pawn and accessory to fraud
