Virtue Map Reports & Reviews (85)

I tried this Virtue Map app and found it useless right get away. I tried to cancel my subscription and get a refund within the first week. They would not reply or refund me. Then after 6 months they recharged my credit card the full amount again even after I canceled.
Do not purchase this app, it is a complete scam!

I ordered this at the beginning of 2022, and received a series of emails that were not especially helpful and I felt I had wasted my money. After three months, I got an email congratulating me for completing the course. The next day, I received an „upgrade“ followed by more emails, which were very generic. The last email I received was in September 2022. Then a few days ago (March 2023), I was recharged for another year of the program. I contested the charge, writing that I didn’t want to continue, that I wasn’t satisfied with the product and that I hadn’t received anything in almost six months. I was told I should have canceled 48 hours earlier and that I had unsubscribed to the emails (which I didn’t…they just stopped coming.) Additionally, I was told I should have been using the app (which is terrible.) After requesting a refund again, I was told virtue map is an „intangible good“ and therefore under no obligation to accommodate my request. I have now been charged almost $80 for nothing. This is not a good product and the company is dishonest. No one should be fooled into thinking this product will help them. Not only is it a waste of money, it is managed by deceiving practices.

My review is because they have recharged my card after a year. In none of the emails or the receipt said it was supposed to be any sort of yearly subscription? And in the app or anywhere it still doesn't say that ANYWHERE. Very scammy commerce practises. Also Virtue Map app doesn't give any option to stop this 'subscription' which wasn't subscription in a first place.

Scam practices! They offered 85% discount on program a month ago, they charged 37€, today they charged me again for the second time for 43€! I have no subscription under account or on my card, there’s also no way to unsubscribe! They never answer emails. I’m considering law suit.

They scammed me too and charged my PayPal account a second time after canceling! PayPal has been no help in getting a refund either!

I harassed them until they returned my money - commenting on insta posts (they delete comments) and sending endless emails. They responded when I left a review on trust pilot:

Do NOT pay for these scammers to continue their deceptive practices. I noticed a second charge in my bank account, learning ONLY THEN that the 3 month package I purchased would recur, which was NOT clearly stated from the beginning. The fact that several others have had this experience should tell you something. I'm considering a class action lawsuit at this time.

3 months ago, I would not have believed that I could be so productive. What I used to do during the week, I now manage in one day thanks to the Virtuemap tools. Daily individual tasks on this platform have helped me develop self-discipline, and regular communication with a coach has changed my attitude to difficulties and fears. Now I am no longer afraid of change, but confidently pursue my dreams.

I am a mother of two, and I need to combine work with raising my sons. The Virtue Map platform has become my source of productivity, motivation, and inspiration. Whenever I feel tired, lazy, or anxious, the coach's advice on Virtue Map, along with daily motivational tasks, gives me back my inner strength and productivity.

The app is a bluff they say is one of payment but your signing up for a monthly prenumeration with out telling you they taking away your money. I didnt even got the inlogg to the app when i tried and when i contacted them they just refuse and ask me to enter the app and Thell them what i think of it. So no money, No app and my card is blockt, and i have to deal with the police and fraud papers...

Charge your card multiple times without authorisation, there are no indications that you are signing up for a subscription on sign up, their terms and conditions are hidden and contain clauses which are illegal under UK and EU law to try and prevent you from obtaining a refund.

I was surprised, when my "personalised plan" turned out to be tons of text, which I can easily find via Google after typing "procrastination". It was also weird to expect person with procrastination problem would be reading it and filling countless forms everyday. But I just assumed that maybe it's just not for me and forgot about the whole thing - after all I just signed up for a three months program. Today I realised I've been paying them for SIX MONTHS now, they charge my card every fckn month. I've just e-mailed them, but I don't expect them to refund. I've just realised, that it's a really clever scam, please, don't be as stupid as me. They prey on people who want a change for the better in their lives, we are easy target. I will report this scam to authorities first thing tomorrow.

Its just a really clever marketing scam to have people with AD(H)D sign up for something thats not helpfull at all. They prey for people that are most likely to sign up for something they think will help, but then forget to cancel this subscription or make it really hard to do so. Their policy is to make you pay for as long and as much as possible, giving you more options to ‘tackle’ procrastination, buy paying for more expensive options. And then sit back and let the procrastination do its job and blame the person who signed up. Its clever from a criminal perspective, but dont be fooled. They dont want to help, they just want as much money from victims as they can get.

I purchased their product because they pulled me in with their ads and they had a money-back guarantee. Then I realized that they don't offer an app and the experience was a lot less streamlined and appealing than I expected. I asked for my money back within less than one day, and they denied me. They said they require this: "Show us that you followed our plan for at least 7 consecutive days (by sending us the screenshot of your progress – the number of lessons completed should be 7 or more." Otherwise they will not issue a refund, despite their zero-risk guarantee. Very deceptive. Their business models resembles many other scams and it is apparent that they have inundated the web with fake good reviews as well.

As I am going through a rough patch in my life and waiting to begin therapy, I thought to help myself with online courses, literature etc and found virtue map. I was a little bit skeptical about the whole setting after seeing so many offers. Nevertheless I was so stupid to buy the 3 month subscription. Now I contacted paypal and the customer service (since days), which hasn't sent out anything and doesn't react to my petitions to cancel the subscription.
Any other ideas what could I do?

English is my 2nd language, so don't judge please!
I saw the Virtue map ad on Facebook and I decided to check it out. I did the test and everything seemed legit. I decided to try it.
Usually I'm pretty good at noticing scammers, but this time idk what happened.
First thing I noticed was the big discount, which made me worry about how legit Virtue map is, so I went on Reddit and it was full with good reviews, so I decided to try.
After I paid nothing happened, all I got was tons of other offers. I kept pressing no ty, but they kept coming.
I checked FAQ, checked my email and there was nothing.
I'm asking for a refund, so we'll see how that goes. Or doesn't.
Should have trusted my gut or done my research a bit more carefully.
Don't buy it.

Lucky you,
I haven't received anything so far. Guess I am gonna call my bank and make them cancel the transaction. Paypal is also informed.

Update :D
Still haven't even tried the program and I won't. I once again asked them for a refund and they told me to prove that I've tried it and so on. I told them it was my money abd I just want it back, therefore I don't need to prove them anything. They offered me 50% lol and I happily took it.

Okay right after I registered on this website I received the email. 😃✋️
I won't even try the program.

can someone let this poor man know his name is being used in a scam?

This is just a scam to get your money. It's not an app. It's a website designed as an app. You get no notifications and no assistance beyond "Enter your one thing for today". If you navigate around the "app" on your own, you don't get any clues as to what each section does. You can't view your account. And they won't give you a refund unless you can prove three points.
1. Less than 10 days from purchase
2. Tell them why the plan didn't work
3. Show 7 days worth of worksheets from the "app"

The thing is that if you have ADHD and easily forget things if you are not reminded, you won't meet the 7 days of worksheets point. This company has no "virtue" and is just taking advantage of those of us who suffer from ADHD.

Don't buy it. I wish I could remember which social media site I saw the ad for this. It needs to be reported.

DON'T DO IT! On 8/23/22 I got an email from virtue map offering me a discount. For $20 I could have three months. That seemed reasonable. Upon paying them, I got an upsell page to pay another $40 to have the program for a full year. I figured maybe that made a lot of sense for me so I paid that too. THEN I got another upsell page for worksheets or something, then another upsell page for something else...I navigated through 5 more upsell pages when it occurred to me that the money I'd already paid them clearly didn't give me the full product which they don't state anywhere up front. So I IMMEDIATELY emailed them for a refund. I mean... within MINUTES of having made the purchase. At the end of the day after not hearing back, I went to my bank to file an official dispute. I canceled that credit card number and have to go through all the nonsense of updating every single auto payment just to hold this company accountable for their imaginary money back guarantee. Since then, virtue map and I have exchanged a few emails with all of theirs explaining that I have to PROVE I USED it for 7 days in order to get a refund. What? Ummm...no. Just no.
DON'T DO IT!

virtuemap.com VIRTUEMAP >> BE AWARE ! SCAM ! This is not a mobile app. All what you will get is a bunch of pdf file! before to finally pay, they will take you through 8 upselling pages until you forget why you were her. this pure scam subscription. This service is sold through false advertising. It is neither an app nor a real program. All what you get are pdf files, access to a dummy website with no real content.

Selected the product, negotiated a metric butt ton of upsells and come ons. Received a self-help PDF. Content looked legit, but not too different than free advice from library books. HOWEVER! the PDF could not be edited to enter data on my Mac. Tried to cancel & get a refund, got nothing but saccharine sweet standard customer retention scripted answers. Finally disputed charges through my credit card.
