Walmart Delivery

They charge you $98 annually for their unlimited delivery service. If you are lucky enough to get a delivery slot a lot of the time they send you an order canceling it. Stating “we had to cancel your order because of unusually high demand. Slot availability, staffing, and inventory are still fluctuating daily. We know your grocery order is important, and we apologize for letting you down. “ You are then told that you can place your order again as times become available. When you go to their site to replace your order you are giving the option to get your order in 2 hours or less from an outsourced delivery service.

My problem with this is that they cancel your order or don’t allow you to make an order due to them not being able to deliver It quite frequently. Yet they continue to fraudulently offer the service and refuse to allow you to cancel the service and be refunded for the time left on the service knowing that due to COVID-19 employee shortages they will not be able to honor it.

I found out that Wallmart, sellers on amazon and others are selling a knock off Logitech webcam advertising it as Logitech but it is not even made or supported by Logitech. The seller on Amazon is twice the price of the Logitech C920 webcam which is back ordered. The seller said reason for the high price is the back order of Logitech and pandemic. With kids needing to zoom from home, the back order is up to November for an actual Logitech product so we as parents are desperate to pay what it takes but to sell a fake product is wrong. The C920x is even on Wallmart.com which either they are aware they are selling knock off or aren't aware at all? I think people need to be careful especially now which being ripped off or buying fakes from China.

This is a potential SCAM that occurred at a Walmart in Huntsville, Alabama. I was stopped by a person in Walmart who was selling TV and Internet Service (AT&T). Personal information (drivers license and phone) were requested as part of entries she was making to an IPAD or other electronic device. A few days later I get an AT&T text indicating the my last wireless payment did not process. I checked online and contacted AT&T about the payment status. I found that the payment had gone through and the the phone number presented in the text was a scam.

at 7:04 pm a man by the name of Adam called representing Walmart asking me if I made a purchase for on line merchandise (which I have) and told me that I had bought and I phone (which I already have) so he proceeded to tell me that someone in Germany used my card for purchase of an I phone and they would "refund 201.00" to me via a Walmart credit card. The phone number used was 1-800-266-2278 and when I call this number it was for Comcast. I gave him NO INFORMATION and told him that this call was being "traced as we speak" there was a man on the line that told him after a conversation that lasted 15 minutes to HANG UP. I then proceeded to contact Walmart and give them this information.

They DO NOT HAVE any of my personal information but just my cell number. THIS IS A SCAM !!!

This was the text I received... why would someone do this?

Walmart is starting an exceptionally huge research project in your general vicinity. This project happens each week, so we need to choose Shoppers to work as a store evaluator. You will get $400 on each endeavor. Every task requires 20-30 minutes of time at the store in addition to time to review your post-visit reports. My adult disabled son received a check in the mail for $3200 to be a secrete Walmart shopper. He took the check to the bank and followed all the instructions. He purchased several gift cards like the letter said and called the phone number on the instructions and gave them the numbers on the back of the card. A few days later the bank called and said it was a fake check. He gets a small amount monthly for disability and the bank has taken that entire amount and will until the full amount is paid back. This is devastating as this is his ONLY income

I received a text message from an unknown number that said: " Congrats You've won a $1,000 Walmart gift cart. Collect at..gifftcard.us". Before happiness took me over, I stopped myself and put suspicion first. Because I wanted the money I decided I would contact Walmart directly to find out if they indeed sent me the text and if it was OK to follow the link in the text message. I first went on the Walmart website and researched their fraud area to see what was what and that's where I found out it wasn't Walmart. Please DO NOT CLICK on that link because it's not legitimate.

This is confirmed by Walmart on their fraud website - all the info is there. If you win a gift card they will either call you and/or e-mail you. If you'd like to know more about Walmart fraud you can go to: " walmart.com" > scroll all the way down then click on "Privacy & Security" > scroll down click on "Fraud Alerts" > at the top, on the blue background with white lettering click on "Scams" > scroll down and you can read about "********". Apparently "********" " refers to fraudulent messages sent over SMS (text messaging)" per definition on the Walmart website.

The following is all the information I have on these scammers:

The 4 phone # included in the top of the text message: ###-###-####; ###-###-####; ###-###-#### - has video;

###-###-####.

The text appears to have been sent by the last number I entered above ###-###-####.

At first, I also wanted to know if the link was safe so I checked the website through https://www.urlvoid.com. These are the few things I kept about "gifftcard.us" : I.P. *************; *** *********, California; Blacklist Status: 1/35. I don't really know how insidious they are or what exactly they do because I'm not an actual victim and all this info is to be used as a caution so you won't become a victim.

Consumer received a piece of mail with a cardboard card on it, with her name on it and a claim number to claim a $100 Walmart giftcard. The mailer has no indication for who may have sent out the mailer

I was mailed a letter from Walmart secret shopper, from Paul Johnson. I was to deposit a $3345.00 check drawn on a company called Artelye INC. My instructions were to deposit the check, text Paul Johnson to get the date of when the funds would be released, withdraw the money and go to walmart and purchase 3 $1000.00 money orders. Give the clerk a hard time to see how she react under pressure. Call Paul Johnson once I purchased the money orders to get the address of where to send the money orders. Overnight the 3 - $1000.00 money orders to the address given.

After giving my account number name, an address I was told that I would be transferred to another number the number was ( 888) 642- 1007 to give additional information in order to access the form. Before being put on hold I was asked to verify my ss# then the phone connection was shut off. I received this bogus letter and a check for $1350 to make it look like Walmart wants you to send you on a "SECRET" customer survey assignment. It instructs one to purchase gifts cards and then take pictures of the cards, the peeled off numbers, and send them to a gmail address. As if Walmart does not have its own domain.

Of course you deposit your check and it will bounce, and you send them real gift card information which you paid for and The minute they get that info they will go online and buy whatever they want AT YOUR EXPENSE.

Please report these [censored] and take them down.

Scammer introduced themselves as a Mystery Shopping agency with WalMart and EBay. I was told that I was hand-picked to be a mystery shopper and that they were sending me over $2000, $400 of which I could keep, and several eBay gift cards were to be bought with the remainder of the money. I was told that I could keep $100 as a bonus if I did this in a timely manner. Scammer reached out to me through text and email, assuring me that this was legit and not a scam. I am always skeptical, but like any other red blooded American, I was curious. I entered an old email that is never used and proceeded to see how far it this would go. The last communication was almost 2 weeks ago until today when I received an email stating that my check would be here soon. When I reached out to them asking for proof of legitimacy, I decided to do some research. Apparently this is a very common scam and I hope to warn anyone else against these con artist. I am attaching screenshots of our communication.

- Englewood, NJ, USA

Received priority mail envelope. Inside there is a check from CIVISTA in the amount of $2,350.00. It states that I was selected as a Secret Shopper. I am instructed to deposit the check in my bank branch. When the check "clears", I am then to withdraw my commission of $400 plus $50 for gas/transportation. Then I am to visit Walmart and buy ($500x2) Walmart gift cards totaling $1000 and also visit CVS and buy 2 American Express gift cards ($500 and $400) totaling $900 making the total purchase $1900. Once done I am to text/email a picture of the receipts and a clear picture of the cards individual (each card) on both sides by removing the cards from their packs. The email and phone number are as follows. ***** ********, email is *************************. Contact person is Mike *****.

- Houston, TX, USA

I posted my resume online. Then I got a message on my phone from doing a survey asking if I wanted to be a Walmart Shopper. So I applied but didn't give them my social security. I received a check priority US Postal Service. The check was written against Cedar Mediterranean Foods in MA. The letter says I'm going to make $500 a week. I'm to deposit the check into my acount and take the funds out the next day. Then I have to go to Walmart and buy 2 gift cards for $1000 each. Jim Benson Consultants
