I was I. Facebook marketplace searching for a nightstand. A Wsyfard “site” came up and had what I was looking for. It looked exactly like Wayfare! I received an email confirmation. I paid by credit card and the money was taken out of my account. When I attempted to check the status the website was gone. I called Wsyfare and it was not sold your them.

I clicked on an ad on Facebook that took me to a lookalike Wayfair site...I placed an order and thought it was too good to be true so I googled Wayfair scams AFTER the fact and realized it was one of them! I closed my card but it's probably too late.

Oh it was a site that looked exactly like Wayfair and the link was promoted on Facebook so I didn't think to check twice because it looked just like the site and I've ordered from Wayfair before

I never ordered anything from them. I got an email about a order. I immediately looked for a number to call to report I never placed this order and found out that got my card information somehow and got approved for 49.99. I called my bank next to cancel all my cards and report the fraudulent charges but my bank thinks for some reason it's a legitimate company and they are not. They have a [email protected] as the contact. I just want my money back and I will fight until I get it back

My complaint is the same as the others. I bought an item on the web page which I believed was Wayfair. It looked just the same. But there was no order in my Wayfair account after the sale or now but my CC/ Debit .was charged. I did receive a shipping confirmation from China post, days later, tracked to today, item says delivered, no item delivered at my address.

Charge on CC/Debit as

I immediately cancelled the debit card after purchase thinking something did not feel right.

Money still gone but at least card used is no longer in service. Hopefully this gets shut down and no one else losses money. I wonder, does the real Wayfair know about these scams?

add showed up on facebook marketplace. the site looked exactly like wayfairs site. it was used it to buy something. money was taken from checking account. no order email was provided.

Looked like Wayfair site. Ordered two for the price of one night stands. After six weeks began looking more into this and found out it was not Wayfair, but a Waydayhotsale shop.

I ordered something that i thought was from Wayfair on Facebook but apparently it was not even though everything showed Wayfair. Received nothing from anyone but they ran my card.

THEY took my debit card info for a 14 inch memory foam mattress saying it was a black Friday sale and I checked the email I found out it was a scam I talked to Wayfair gave them the order number they said they didn't have anything in their system that I was scammed out of $45.95 from an imposter

I fell for the 90% off all items sitewide. I wasnt paying attention for anything askew on the website, it looked legit. Until I notice a misspelled word after the fact as well as werid emails to email them for help and also the email they sent me was weird.

Fake WayFair website with WayFair logos etc. Most items extremely underpriced for $39 +tax = $44. After purchase, received an email named as Wayfair from [email protected] and [email protected]. Tracking number takes you to www.waydaybigsale.com, the contact number lists 888-501-8101 and email as [email protected] which belongs to a different clothing retail company named Tuckernuck.

On Facebook, saw an add for wayfare for an end table, made the purchase w a credit card and was charged. I never received a confirmation number or a email, no type of receipt. I was immediately suspicious, so I locked my credit card. I’m currently on the phone w the credit card company

I ordered a recliner from Wayfair and paid to have it assembled. The man who assembled it, didn’t do it correctly. I contacted Wayfair, assuming it would do the RIGHT THING, and arrange for him to return to assemble it properly. Customer service ALLEGEDLY forwarded my call to the department that handles these matters. The man asked all kinds of questions despite it being a fairly minor fix. The next thing I knew, he remotely accessed my PC. I immediately checked my bank account and found several BOGUS PAYMENTS to PayPal. I DO NOT HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. My debit card had to be cancelled AND my bank CLOSED MY ACCOUNT using an abundance of caution. Wayfair REFUSED to refund MY MONEY, including the amount I paid to have it IMPROPERLY ASSEMBLED. That was 2 months ago, the chair, that now disgusts me, remains improperly assembled. The [censored] put two parts on backwards. My area of expertise is being an attorney, not furniture assembly. I’m still out OVER $1,000 and intend to sue the FRAUDS.

On August 31 I was on FB and saw a ad from Wayfair and to me I thought it was legit so I went on there to see what they had and came across a dresser for husband to use for our room, it cost me 48.00 USD which on my CAD be 65.05 roughly it show Active on the order waiting to be shipped so this status been like this for 6 days so when thinking it is wayfair company so I called it and talk to someone gave them the ordered number etc it was not listed and told their order numbers are different but she advise me to go to my bank ask them to get my money back and show my bank all the screen shot of everything I have and the email I was asked by Wayfair to the customer service depth so they can have reports...I also went on FB to report all ads regarding This scammers and also seeing it is not the only company they are trying to be they also been pretend to be Bath & Bed Beyond.
