This is a timeshare type scam. We wanted to sell a contract we no longer use. Adobe Title cold called me from the website Adobetitletexas.com. After some research with Texas Secretary of State I found person name and broker license online. The license was recently expired. Web site was about 1 year old but owner name was masked. Adobe had a resort person contact me. She seemed very legitimate and found her profile on LinkedIn and matched well with want I was told. Before sending money we called our resort using our known good phone numbers. We asked about info sent to us and found that the phone numbers and email domains did not belong to the resort. To quote the resort “this is a scam”. Very convincing scam that was many layers deep- calling resort for confirmation saved us.
