On 10/7/24 I purchased a leg brace for my dog. The product I received was too large for him. I reached out to the company email (They don't have a phone number). I said I would like a refund for the product. The website states 30 day hassle free returns. They informed me that only part of the product was refundable. Though it doesn't state that anywhere in their product description. They have it stated in their return policy. (That's how they protect themselves from consumers being able to dispute the charge with their credit card company). After further research into the company they have done this same thing to many consumers. They intentionally send you the wrong product and when you return it to them they also say it is either 1. Covered in pet hair or 2. Has an Odor. Therefor they don't have to refund the customer at all. If you try to leave a review on either their Facebook or Instagram they block you so that no other consumer can see what they're up to. The facebook page that exists of burned customers they have stolen from is "[censored] Tailwind Pets". There are currently 33 members and growing. Any legitimate company would accept an unused product and refund a customer no problem. Nothing for my order was custom made. Two of the three parts I ordered were different sizes. I sent the email to return the day after it arrived. This "company" is very skilled at scamming people out of their money and making it so the consumer can do nothing to protect themselves or others.

On 2/2/2023, I placed a order for 2 hinged knee braces and a connection belt via TailWindPets.com (website) for my dog. I received a confirmation that I wanted 2 braces. On 2/11/2023, I received the following:

My order (10792) below was for

1) both a left and right side Hinged Knee Brace for Dogs - Cruciate Support and Improved Immobilization Ultra Mini (both Left & Right) AND

2) Connection Belt (Harness to Brace Connection)

I just received via UPS Tracking #: 1Z R48 3F8 04 9390 4493 but it only had the Left Side Knee Brace.

Therefore, it is missing the following items:

1) Right Side Hinged Knee Brace for Dogs - Cruciate Support and Improved Immobilization Ultra Mini

2) Connection Belt (Harness to Brace Connection)

They asked me to send them a photo as well as the packing invoice of what was received. I had to to this more than once. E-mailing the company back and forth over the same matter. Finally after 4 or 5 emails to them in regards to the missing products, I got frustrated and asked about their return policy. They informed me that since it was a custom order the only thing that could be return was the connection belt.

I posted a negative review in regards to my experience with the company TailWind and then they reached out to me requesting me to send the product back to them for a full refund back to my credit card. I asked them for a prepaid UPS return shipping label. TailWind then told me that I did not have to return the product just remove the negative posting. But my feeling is that now after 5 e-mails to and from TailWind, I cannot guarantee that they will refund my credit card after I remove the negative review. This company is totally shady!
