Was searching for a recently discontinued product and found a website that was still supposedly selling their back stock. I order the around $26 product, I received a confirmation email saying my order had been placed but I then never received the product.

At first glance the website appears to be legit. It was not until I received the order confirmation email that I started to get suspicious. There was a lot of Thai writing on it but the website was very English-stentric. This made me question the legitimacy of the URL which in turn made me start researching whether or not I had been scammed! And yes I have been.

(This makes me feel old, getting fooled by the interwebs. I had always thought I was hipper than that! Oops)
