I found a page on facebook called "bernedoodle puppies for adoption" where the moderator of the account, Amanda Hellen White reached out and told me she had discounted puppies. After receiving photos and videos of the puppy I decided to move on with the adoption process. She sent me a made out contract for the puppy and asked for a deposit. We only talked through facebook. I used cash app to purchase the puppy and she told me it would be delivered on Monday 2/26/24. When Monday came around the "shipping company" reached out and asked for more money in order to get me the puppy, although I was told it wouldn't cost any extra. When I told Amanda I wasn't comfortable shipping the puppy anymore I offered to pick it up. She then told me she could't get it back from the shipping company. I then asked for a refund, where she refused.
