We received a phone call on Friday, September 21 at approximately 4:00 p.m. The caller was female and said she was calling re: a $77 purchase made on our VISA card with Amazon and requested that if we made the purchase that it was okay. If we had not made the purchase that we needed to call them at 888-419-9111. We immediately called our credit card company and a male answered the phone. He asked me my name. I had a feeling that it was not the credit card company and asked who he was. He again asked for my name and I hung up on him. I checked the phone number for my credit card company and the number was correct. I redialed it and this time reached the company. I explained to them what had transpired and they assured me that there were no charges to Amazon on our account. On Saturday, September 22 at 3:35 p.m. we received another call from a female saying basically the same thing as the day before re: a $77 purchase with our VISA card with Amazon. We checked with our credit card company again this time the call went through on the first try. The VISA representative advised that no charges had been made to our VISA card.

--I clicked on the link then it asked for my name, address, phone number and my credit card account information, of course this did not feel right and I DEFINITELY DID NOT ENTER MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!! so I looked this job up directly from amazon.com website and OF COURSE! it does not show.

So I even tried youtube to see if anyone posted videos about this job and I found a video that led me here

This company will sent you a link to read about the job opportunity (http://576902770757.loodpetroleumgh.com/). Sounds great, just put your information in and they will call you. Got a call and they sent me an email with a contract asking for a selfie with my driver's license and then a copy of just my driver's license. Attached is the contract stating that full time you can make about 5k a month plus 5% commission. I have worked in a commission based job and that sounded sketchy. So I called the number at the bottom of the email and what are the chances that it was the same guy I talked to the previous day from a different phone number. When I asked what the job initialed he stated that they pay merchants for amazon and that money will be deposited into my bank account and then I would withdraw the money and "pay their clients" with the money. So just to do my researched a little more, I contacted Amazon and asked if this job even excised. Low and behold they did not and advised that what I was receiving was a scam.

Scam Description

received a voicemail saying they reviewed my online resume and had open positions working with "Amazon" listing products and posting reviews that paid anywhere from $17-$32 hr. Female said to apply today as they are only hiring 23 people and to apply to "stockretail.org". I looked at their site which immediately looked suspicious. Also, it seems they have different names, i.e. "stockretail.com" etc. The positions are not on a job site with job description but rather a scam for you to pay for a training kit. I checked the Amazon site and they have no such jobs listed. This is a scam!

I received this voicemail and thendod a search to see if it was a real opportunity. Finding it is now per you guys here.

Beware of anyone who calls as Amazon with an offer for an affiliate program that sets you up with a domain and full marketing support for a one time fee. They get you with a one letter difference from the email account they send you (webpartnerrs). It is actually a multi-layered scam. They say they are with Amazon but the agreement paperwork they send is for Online Marketing Gurus LLC and as far as I can tell, that isn't who they are either. I have Amazon investigating and disputing the charge with my bank.

I had a voicemail on my phone but no missing calls. The prerecorded message said something about Amazon wanting to hire me because they found my resume online. It told me to go to storejobs.org and sign up for an employment opportunity working online for Amazon making reviews and testing products that would pay anywhere from $17-$23/hour.

Recieved a phone call soliciting employment opportunities through Amazon

- Idaho Falls, ID, USA

Caller states Amazon is seeking to employee 23 positions for work online in your spare time pay ranging between $17-$32 per hour. They saw my resume on line ( fabrication I don’t have a resume online) then I was directed to their website to fill out an employment application. I did not pull up their website.

Person named Sarah called to say that She had gotten my Resume on-line and thought I'd be interested in working for Amazon. Shared several positions and quoted a salary from $13 to &32 per hr. Said to apply via stock retail.org as they were only hiring 23 persons.

- Pompano Beach, FL, USA

Claimed to be Amazon and they found me online and we're paying 20.00 to 30.00 an hour. Said to fill out app at stockretail.com

This man is acting like he work for Amazon and asking for my bank account information and asked if he could use another account and I gave my cousin account and said he would refund me on her account the money never showed now saying there is no money

- Sioux Falls, SD, USA

Today I missed a call from a number indicating it was from Amazon. I checked my orders, emails and nothing was out of the ordinary. I called the number back to make sure nothing was wrong. It was a long recording about becoming an Amazon "affiliate" for an investment of $200. It was a very long message and got very confusing. They kept using the Amazon name over and over. It was about setting up your own website and "working" for Amazon. The fee is $200 and if you are interested then you are supposed to leave all of your personal information. I feel like it is very sketchy.

- Phoenix, AZ, USA

Fake Amazon Job website. Trying to get sensitive personal info through the phone, possible money scheme, identity theft etc.

Keep seeing this notice interupt me while reading stories on seemingly legitimate websites. Claims that I’ve been selected to receive a free gift card or iphone etc. They need to be stopped, sure it’s a potential virus

Hello,

I got a call on 6/6/2018 from a number that said “We’re hiring 25 workers in your area to work for Amazon.com”. They informed me to visit internetprofits.com and work from home. Earn $500/day...

The number that left the message was (617) 396 3631. Another caller's ID was (410)989-4470. None of these numbers are useful.

The website InternetProfit.org is asking for $47 to sign up and promises large income by working form home.

THIS IS A SCAM!!

do not pay a penny!

- Dallas, TX, USA

I also got a call to go to Amazon data job and fill oit application to work from home and make 6,000 a month.
