Amazon Reports & Reviews (939)

- Stanley, NC, USA

A call from "Sarah" was left on my voicemail. She requested I sign up online for the same thing, a job with Amazon listing products online from home offering pay off$17-$32 per hour. The website was stockretail.org. I went back in my voicemail to attach the message and it was gone with no trace of it anywhere. Beware this scammer seems intelligent.

Received voicemail from Sara with Amazon profits claiming that she saw my resume online and was calling to offer employment for testing products and posting reviews. Advised to apply at Amazon profits.org.

This is a link that was sent to my phone via text. It goes to show a position for amazon with good pay, work from home. And ask for additional information which is where I stopped and closed the website.

I received a call on 9/18/2018 which I did not answer, as it was from a number in North Dakota that I did not recognize (I live in Wisconsin). The message they left was offering a job working for Amazon posting reviews and products. They claimed the job paid between $17-$33 an hour. I was told to visit amazoncash.org and apply. I did not visit the site as this appeared to be an apparent scam attempt.

Here is message I received: “Hello this is Sarah calling with web store jobs dot org a nonprofit recruitment firm I saw your resume online and I'm calling about an online opportunity working with Amazon you'll be listing products and posting reviews online in your spare time Hourly pay ranges from $17-$32 an hour we are currently hiring 23 people this month so please register today at web store jobs dot org that's Web store jobs dot org”. I don’t have a resume posted online and I have seen that amazon is a dot com website not dot org. I do not believe this is legit.

Call went straight to voicemail, my phone never rang. Voicemail was a woman that said she had gotten my Resume on-line and thought I'd be interested in working for Amazon as a product reviewer. Shared several positions and quoted a salary from $13 to &32 per hr. Said to apply via stock retail.org as they were only hiring 23 persons

- Wilmington, DE, USA

I received a call from Sara stating she reviewed my resume on-line and had a job opening for me. The position was a work at home for Amazon posting items and placing reviews. Pay was between $17 to $32. I needed to register online at Stockretail.org. It is a scam to get you to give them money for training. This position doesn't exist.

I received a phone call that went sirectly to voice mail. When I listened to it, it was a pitch for employment with Amazon. I did a google search for the website, I scrolled past the web result and read the ScamPulse.com results about this scam.

I recieved a voicemail from someone named Sara claiming she was a recruiter and had found my resume online and wanted to offer me a job position testing and reviewing products from amazon. She claimed to be hiring 23 new people this month. They would be paying $17-$32 per hr for these positions. All i had to do was go to stockretail.org and fill out a form to get started. I dont remember the price of the starter kit i was suppose to purchase. I think it was like $200. Red flags started going off in my head thats when i knew things just didnt seem right. So luckily for me they didnt get any money out of me and the number they keep calling me from has been blocked from my phone.

I have received multiple calls from a variety of phone numbers that look local. When I pick up, it’s an automated message stating Amazon.com is looking to hire 23 people. The message then instructs to visit their website at www.internetcareer.org to fill out an application promptly as the jobs will fill up quickly. I typically never answered and would block the numbers, but they call back using other numbers and then they began to text me the same instructions. So, I decided to let it go to voicemail and collect all the necessary info to report this. After trying to look them up online I did find that they want you to apply by paying a couple hundred dollars into this first by purchasing a kit. They say things like, “If you’re lucky enough to be chosen to receive a kit” to really make it seem time sensitive. Major scam!

- Chicago, IL, USA

On August 14, 2018, I received a call to my mobile phone from a New York number, 516-521-7379.

When I answered the phone and began hearing an Amazon pitch for employment, I just hung up.

Immediately afterwards, I received a text message from the same number asking, "Is this Maggie?"

I didn't respond.

Today I saw the Amazon Hiring Scam notice on NBC5 Chicago News, so I thought it best to report the number.

The company called and saw my resume on line and was calling about an on line job opportunity with Amazon listing products and posting reviews for $17-$32 an hour. Only hiring 23 people this month.

They had left a voicemail bc I didn't answer the phone bc I didn't recognize the number.

The number was (707) 475-3307

Got a voicemail saying they saw my resume and thought I'd be interested in a job at Amazon work from home for $13-$32 an hour and to go to stockretail.org for further info. Thought it too good to be true but still looked up anyway only to find that the it was a scam so I am reporting it.

Got my resumé online. Hiring 23 people from 17-23 dollars per hour. Phone never rang, not listed in my missed calls, but got a voicemail and with visual voicemail, I got the supposed number

- Booneville, MS, USA

They just keep calling & leaving voicemails wanting me to give them my information and for a fee I can make thousands a month writing reviews for amazon. This is a scam. I googled it to see and I never give out my info to anyone. Be careful! And always be aware of anything that just pops in your lap. Any job I’ve ever had I had to get out with a resume & go door to door looking for one. If it sounds too easy it is!

I don’t know how to forward you a copy of the voicemail. I have forwarded them to people in my contacts but I don’t know how to attach it to a website. If you need this info & can send me some instructions I’ll be happy to send it to you.

A recording called me going me a job with amazon and to visit online typing.com to sign up.

- Daytona Beach, FL, USA

As I clicked on the link, my phone notified me that someone tried to access my email account.

- Cedar Park, TX, USA

Autobot named Sarah said they got my resume online and thought I’d be interested in working for Amazon testing and reviewing products. Paying $12-$32 per hr. And apply at stockretail.org

- Terry, MS, USA

Voice recording of employment opportunity with Amazon. After seeing my resume online they wanted me to go to stockretail.org and apply for a position of posting products and writing reviews. The pay was $17-$32 an hour and they were only hiring 23 people today. I checked the site and then the ScamPulse.com and found a previous report regarding the same information.
