Realtor reached out to stating he can assist with me getting an apartment. He posed as a worker from Bohemia Realty talking about application fee he was given 180 for application fee to view apartments I never saw apartment and person took profile off social media

He has 4 aliases and asks for a $500 deposit in money order form for a “good faith” holding the apartment for us in which later

He said gets applied to the first month rent

First Executive Realty ran by Sheik Hossein is a scam, do not call him, do not give him any personal information and definitely to do not pay any kind of funds upfront to hold a listing. He has another minion working for him and he is not a real realtor. He makes calls to real people renting to then bate you to get info and funds out of you. Be aware

Through Streeteasy app I tried to rent a studio for myself. I was approached by this broker named Sheik Hossein who showed me a property at 55-05, Woodside, **** *** **** Queens, New York. On 30th January 2023, he made me fill application for it in which I had to mention my SSN NUMBER and told to transfer $1475 to Mr. John Paul through Zelle stating he is the owner of the property. He then did not inform me anything about my application status till next one month and when I called to enquire about it on 23rd Feb 2023 then he started saying that why don't you rent another apartment by paying extra. When I refused then he said he will talk to management office of the property to which my application has been forwarded to. After that he never called back. When I started calling him then he started avoiding my calls so I informed Mr. John Paul about all this. He expressed his total ignorance about any of this to which I said that I had transferred money into your account and now I want it back because your broker is acting shady. Finally after repeated attempts Sheik Hossein picked up my call and asked me to come to his office on 27th Feb 2023 at 5:00 p.m and said to collect the refund in the form of cashier's check. Upon reaching there I found his office locked and when I called he started fooling me by saying it will take him 20 minutes and then 10 minutes to reach. Finally it was at around 5:45 p.m. i called Mr. John and shouted on him asking for my money back. He then went to TD Bank nearby, withdrew cash $1475 and gave me in an TD Bank envelope which clearly meant that there was no cashiers check ever made and worst thing was that Mr. John turned out to be an assistant to Sheik Hossein and was not the owner of the property to which I had applied. I am sure this conman Sheik Hossein has cheated others also in the past in realty sector. His office is on 3rd Floor Room number 7A. The building is adjacent to Consulate General of Bangladesh. It can be opened only if someone opens from inside. I request to revoke his license for real estate business so that innocent people do not fall in his trap.

The apartment was still available that he had on the site. He informed me we can schedule a time to meet at the apartment for showing, but I have to apply for the application form for the property approval letter. Which I did at the site below, https://my.forms.app/form/62cf4fed6535fb624aea1182. My application form will be approved once i made the refundable application fee $60. Its was guarantee approval once they received the money and would send my approval letter for the apartment on **** * *** *** * **, Brooklyn, NY 11223. We were scheduled to meet at 6pm on Friday 2/3/2023. I got the letter, but he kept harassing me for the security deposit and I didn't even see the apartment as yet. So when I called him to follow up the Friday he didn't answer. So I contacted the bank but they already released the funds. So I have to file a claim and inform you because they tried to use my information.

The scammer posed as a landlord, selling an apartment off of the market. He said his name was Pierre Able and told my boyfriend and I, he had many apartments ready or almost ready. He sent is to a building to see the apartment. At first he said he was going to meet us there but then said he had the supper open the apartment door for us, so we viewed the apartment by ourselves. In order for Mr. Abel to take the apartment off the market he said we needed to put in a security deposit at the bank. He gave us the information to out on a cashier check and send it to him. The next week he said he could have the apartment fixed faster and in order for us to move in, we could pay early. Pierre said the cashiers check took long to go through so if we wanted everything to go fast and move in faster we have to us cash this time. He sent us to TD bank and gave us an account number and name. We sent the money. He has been rude and racist, and he was not allowing us to move in or collect the keys. We asked for the money back and he told us we had to pay an extra fee of $250 each for canceling and wasting time. When we tried calling and texting the day of the first we noticed he blocked us. We went to the the same building he sent us to, to realize the place wasnt fixed and completed.

Was contacted on FB Messenger about a sublease opportunity. After signing lease with Peak Homes and transferring security deport, the contact deactivated the account. All numbers on the company website are fake Google voice numbers where no one picks up.
