I responded to a Facebook Marketplace ad for an used car. The poster said that they are posting for a friend who doesn't have Facebook account, and told me to email the friend at [email protected] for more details. I emailed and requested details. The response was from "Boyd Diana" and she attached pictures of the car. She said she is military personnel stationed at Scott AFB but she is going to ship the car to me for inspection and I will have five days to decide whether to buy. She wanted $1,200 for the car. I googled images that she sent and found that the same car is actively listed by a car dealership in Texas for $13,000.
