Called three times today with the "can you hear me now" line, after blurring the conversation about my windows computer having a problem. Told him wrong, I run Linux and asked for the ip of the computer he had a complaint about. That is when the audio blurred. It cleared up, and he ask if I could hear him now. I hung up.

I received a phone call and the recorded person said that they dropped their head set. They asked if I could hear them. I was pre-occupied and I said yes. I realized what I did and hung up. I called back the number and it was a different recording saying if I wanted to be taken off of the list to press 9. I hung up again

Someone called me from this number. I answered the phone, said hello. I could hear someone was there but it wasn't clear. I, out of habit said "yes?" That's when a woman's voice came on saying "sorry, I was having trouble with my headset" and then it went into a recording that I stayed at a hotel and here is a deal for you. I kept saying "not interested" And when I realized it was a recording I hung up since I had heard about the scam.

I received a call from an unfamiliar number. I asked it & it was a foreign girl who asked if she was talking to (insert my name)....I said hello and then said yes. The girl then said hello & hung up on me.

I wrote down the number she called me from. When to my cell phone to look up the number & I had no internet service. This was odd, so I went to my computer & again...had no internet service. About 10 minutes later, the internet was working on all our devices.

My son then mentioned, there was a story on the news that you are not suppose to say YES to any type of robo call. I am praying no information was taken or somehow stolen from me.

Should I be contacting all my credit card companies, phone/tv/internet company to make them aware should there be any weird charges?? I am thinking I will just to be on the safe side.
