Received multiple phone messages: Good morning this is Anthony Carrington Summit supervisor for the offices of DAAP and associates. My office number. My direct line 8 6 6- 7 9 0- 0 2 6 0 again 8 6 6- 7 9 0- 0 2 6 0. This is a final courtesy call intended only for the respondent that person has been identified by previous recorded contact with our offices at one Albert Eluna, social ending xxxx (my correct SSN) In my office is required to show proof that we've made every effort to help you avoid those serious consequences. You face with regards to those declined payments that you still have on file with our office. With that being said , you should be aware that we've now developed what we call a payment restructure program that would allow you to pay just a bit less than I had been previously required so that you get yourself back on track and the number of actions that have already been recommended against your name and social that would allow this routed to be closed and updated private No, this is if you wish to avoid those actions that we see I will prove to be much more expensive if it goes any further, you'll have 2 4 hours to accept this program offer must also commit to recover any decline payments that you have on file or at least a portion they're up again 8 6 6- 7 9 0- 0 2 6 0. I received a cm saying: “We are trying to contact you as a final courtesy in regards to a pending signed and notarized affidavit file that your name and Social Security number For this matter is finalizing some of the county Correspond immediately on this matter , while we're all the way right to provide a statement and the negative recommendation will be issued on your behalf for the case board against you Press one now to speak with advisor…” I did return the call, they knew my name and SSN. I questioned the rep who ID herself as Christina Smith for DAP & Associates. She wouldn’t provide any information till I verified my SSN, I refused so she became disrespectful and I terminated the call.

Received this voicemail: “This message is intended for my name is Anthony. I'm with Dap and Associates. I'm reaching out to you in regards to an account we have in our office here with you. Our office has been retained by a client who previously sent you a certified letter regarding the final action. They did end up you as being evasive and non responsive. At this time, I've been asked to schedule a process over to bring you out the documents tomorrow. September 27th between one and 3 p.m. If for any reason, you're unavailable to sign for the document. So I don't hear back from you. It will be considered a directorship that'll comply and all legal proceedings will proceed without you. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me directly at 8333210076 and provide reference number 3592382."

Caller knew my name and SS #. Was very very aggressive and the original voicemail claimed they were filing a lawsuit against me in Durham County NC. When I called the number the woman told me I owed for a Pay Day loan of 696.00 from 2016. I have no clue of what she was talking about. She also threatened a lawsuit and judgement against me. I hung up on her while she was rattling on trying to make me feel guilty and afraid. I hung up without offering her any information as I have not a clue about any payday loan I received in 2016

Got a call from a Gabrielle Hall from "DAP Associates" called from a New Palestine, IN number of 463-465-7059 and stated to call their office immediately on my pre-legal status and left call back number of 866-571-0173. I was reading through other ones above and it looks like I'm not the only one called by Gabrielle Hall.

Have multiple people calling and family members saying I would be served legal action and to call this number it was a demilio something from number (844) 929-2573 . Never answered and I blocked my number his voice mail says dap associate and to leave your bio or case number…. I have nothing against me for legal matter and looked up in my county for things against my name… there is nothing do not fall for this scam.

On Friday March 4th 2022, I received a voicemail from Telephone # 855-510-7240 at 7:37 PM from a Mr. James Bowen from D A P & Associates regarding a legal matter.

The voicemail stated, " that there is a legal complaint against me and that it's directly attached to my name and last 4 digits of my social security # and that I needed to contact him immediately before this escalates / before action is taken against me / before it goes to court for litigation. That he is willing to mediate my case for me but I needed to return his call immediately since this matter is time sensitive and he gave me a case reference # GRT-650 "

They call with the name of Gabrielle Hall contacting me on behalf of DAP & Associates very important matter to dicuss at our offive under pre-legal status and would like a call back at 866-571-0173 but they keep calling fro0m a 850-320-7241

They’ve been trying to call me through me and my family members when I didn’t recognize the number I didn’t answer until they called my dad. They knew all my information. Name. DOB. SSN and had information about an old checking account that they are trying to collect a debt on. Pretty insistent on an amount being paid immediately or I’d have to pay the full amount.

Caller said her name was Karen Moore and she worked with DAP & Associates. She said she was informing me that there is a legal matter attached to my name and social security number and that I need to call back by the end of the day to respond to these allegations. I am in no legal trouble! They are just trying to get me to confirm my info to get my personal information. The call back number they left in voice mail is different than the one they called from. This is the number I was told to call back 866-680-8540. However, the number that called me was 608-729-4227.

Scammer left voice message

"this is Cynthia Davis with DAP and Associates and we have been attempting to contact you as we have a case filled that is connected to your name and social security number if you don't contact us a judgment not in your favor will be decided. You need to call 866-680-8540 before this is turned over to your county." I did not call the number.

We did not answer the phone because we didn't recognize the number. I did some research and found out it is a scam where they try to collect money for a debt on a loan you never took out with no info avail and they threaten to send police (which would never happen for a civil judgement). Do not fall for this scam.

Left a voicemail stating they needed to speak to me regarding a legal complaint attached to my name & social security number. She identified herself as Tiffany Norris from DAP & Associates and said I needed to contact regarding a legal complaint.

They call and leave messages on your voicemail threatening legal action claiming that there is a legal issue attached with the Social Security number. They called from different phone numbers. This is all false there is no legal issue attached to my Social Security number or other relatives that they have called my phone for claiming that there is a legal issue with their Social Security number

Received a phone call from Sophia Richardson at DAP (or D&P) Associates. Supposedly they have been trying to reach me about a legal complaint filed against my name and social security number. Failure to return their call will result in a recommendation not in my favor. Instructs to call 1-844-430-3773. Many folks have reported as a scam online and I couldn't find a business under that name listed online in Bridgeport... but I did hit return call to the 760-203-2954 and someone answered named Julie for DAP (or D&P).

They tried to say I took out a loan from Vandelier Group (which turned into BBM LLC or something like that after being sold) back in 2011 and that the loan amount was $400 and the total now (after being unpaid) was $4,678.19 but they could take it down to $2,678.19 and in order to get rid of it all, I would have to send them $50 today. I said no, that’s not possible, I can’t do it today. They said if not today, then I could make a payment on my pay day of $410.19 to consolidate. I told them it was the holidays and that wasn’t possible, that money was appropriated to something else with Christmas coming up. Then they said well we can make a payment plan and you can pay this month and next month in the amount of $360.19 to end it all. I gave them an old paypal account card number to end the call and said I would put it on there when I got paid. I told her to email me the payment arrangement details and she said she would when we got off the phone. (Hours later and I have yet to receive an email) I then called the FTC to speak with an investigator to ensure it was real or if it was a fraud/scam and they told me it was a scam if they didn’t have paperwork and to say I needed paperwork- a signature of me signing a paper saying I took out a loan, the bank account and number it was deposited into, and the loan name. After saying what the FTC said when I called them back, the fraudulent company said they “didn’t have that information since they were a third party (which makes no sense, you should if you’re in anyway tied to this) but it was pertinent for me to make the payment before they sent out a summons and garnished 40% of my wages if I didn’t call them by 12PM the next day.” I look forward to seeing if they will call at 12 tomorrow. This was a total scare tactic to get my valued information from me and I failed to fall for it. They had all of my information down to my social security number, previous addresses, emails, and family members phone numbers (minus my brothers which they had the wrong number which was the reason I got suspicious about it in the first place since he’s had the same number since 7th grade). DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE GET YOUR MONEY! They will try and talk over you, make you believe something that you have no recollection of and make you feel like a bad person when in fact, it is them. #StayWoke
