I just received a phone message from a David Gray about an enforcement action from the US Treasury. The number left to call back was 347-273-8593. Realizing this most likely was a scam I did a quick google search and found that it was but did want to report it if it helps in catching these people. Thank you.

caller (David Gray) left voice message to call 202-864-1845 to discuss possible enforcement of Federal Criminal offense involving U.S. Treasury Dept. Stated failure to return call would mean avoidance of second attempt at enforcement. (echo on line, voice had slight foreign accent- British?)

I received a phone message from "David Gray" saying the following: "My name is David Gray...and I am calling re: enforcement action executed by the U.S. Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid your initial appearance before a Magistrate Judge or Grand Jury for a Federal Criminal Offense. I invite you to call and help us to help you."

Call to our home phone from David Gray stating that the US Treasury is taking an action against us and if we ignore it legal action will be taken. Phone number was 862-800-0703. We did not call back found this to be a scam on the ScamPulse.com website October 2015

We receved a call from a David Gray at 815-553-0631 Joliet Illinois on Tuesday claiming we need to call immediately or face federal prosecution. We saw that it is a scam, just wanted to report that he is calling.

David Gray, an imposter saying he was from the US Treasury Department, left a message on our answering machine requesting that we return his call immediately and that ignoring the call would lead us to be charged with a serious Federal offense and we would be brought up before the grand jury. The number he left was 315-879-6422.

A man identifying himself as "David Gray" left a message (I did not pick up the phone, just let it go to voicemail) stating that I had committed a crime against the US Treasury Department and if I did not call him right back I would be subject to arrest on felony charges.

Stated name as David Gray, said us treasury had charges filed against us and this was the second attempt they had tried to reach us to help us from arrest. Called from Oakland California 510-488-0876 at 1:03 pm. Jan.15, 2016. This was a message left on our machine. When we returned the call no answer or machine picked up.

"David Gray" with the US Treasury regarding monies owed to misfiled tax return in 2011, with threat of arrest. When I called back he claimed to be Gary Richard. He had a foreign accent and refused to transfer my call. I eventually wore him down and he admitted it was a scam. I told him to get a job he could be proud of.

Phone message left regarding an enforceable action by the US Treasury. Ignoring the the call (that is, failing to respond to the voice message) would result in being brought before a US Magistrate, Grand Jury on charges of a federal offense.

Two phone calls from "David Gray" who was calling in regards to an "enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury" He went on to say "ignoring this call will be a second attempt to avoid appearing before a magistrate or federal judge regarding the charges of a serious federal criminal offense" He ended the phone message by giving his phone number (941-877-5770) and saying, "Help us help you"

I received at telephone message on Friday while I was work which was as follows:

"This message is intended to contact you. My name is David Gray and I am calling regarding enforcement actions executed by U.S. Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an initial second attempt to avoid an appearance before a magistrate or grand jury for federal offenses. I warn you not to ignore this call. Please call me back at 703 828-0314”

I tried to call the number all weekend, to no avail. I finally got an answer Monday morning at 0830 hrs from a person claiming to Officer Oliver of the U.S Treasury. He stated, that to avoid arrest by Federal Agents, I must go immediately to my bank and wire $6,000 to the Treasury Dept. at an address he would stipulate when I arrived at the bank. He said that if I was to terminate the phone call, he would sign a warrant for my arrest and Federal Agents would take me into custody, and I would spend 6 months in jail.

I advised the him that I would check with my tax preparer and the IRS to verify whether or not I owed any money, and that if I did, I would pay it. He told me he was going to sign an arrest warrant immediately.

I subsequently checked with my tax preparer and the IRS and they advised that I had a "zero balance"

I received a voicemail message from the phone number: 202-754-8321 claiming that I owe IRS money and if I do not pay immediately, they will arrest me. Ashley Morgan and David Gray were the names they provided.

Have received calls from DAVID GRAY, who leaves messages saying to call back immediately about about a matter of the US treasury and cooperation is required to avoid being sent before a magistrate (or something like that).

Nov 9 got 6 calls from 1-850-266-7482 (Pensacola FL) and again Nov 21 from 1-551-497-4103 (Hackensack, NJ).
