The description of the product that I ordered from their web site is as follows:
1- Plays music and phrases
2- Automatic motion or sound sensor activation
3-Multi-Lingual - Adjust the 4-way toggle switch to choose English, Spanish, French, or music only
4- Approximate dimensions: 23" (L) × 13" (W) × 39" (H)
5- Approximate weight: 7 lbs.
“They strum their unique banjos synchronized to the music and as they play, their heads turn and eyes light up.
Simply plug in the connecting wire and standard outlet adapter, both included.
There is a volume control turning knob for you to set the sound level. A 4-way switch controls English, French or Spanish speaking lines, the 4th position for music only.
They have leg, knee and ankle joints so the legs can be positioned on a mantle, stairs, table or hay bale.
They include wide bases to be stable on any flat services”
What I received was two miniature rubber skeletons with dimensions of 4” (L) x 1.5” (W) x 9” high. They do not plug in. They do not move. They do not have joints. They do not play music or say phrases. They cannot sit or stand. Their joints do not move. Dinnel Store has since removed the item that I ordered from their web site.
I contacted [email protected] and asked for a refund since they did not send me the right product. [email protected] said they could not get the product that I ordered any longer and to refund my money, they requested that I send the rubber figures to a warehouse in China (Address: 1F, Building 4, Qianglin Yuntong Storage Park, No.52, No.22 Street, Qiantang New District, Hangzhou, Name: Voizen Huang, Number: +86 15867157301) at my own expense. The cost to send these rubber dolls to China is over $150 USD.
I believe this store sells items that they do not have and then ships very low-cost items instead. When the consumer asks for a refund, Dinnel Store states the consumer must send the item back at their own expense, knowing that it will cost more for the consumer to ship back the fake item than what was paid for the product ordered. Thus, Dinnel Store keeps the money paid for the original ordered item.
I have reported Dinnel Store to the FTC and the IC3.
