Dreambooks media scam

This company contacted me saying that you could possibly get my book made into a film and presented to film companies. Claiming my book was in some kind of top percentage for their VIP package based on somebody named Randy Lewis in their company.They were asking me for $5,000. I talked to a Kathy Hayes. She presented me the cost and what it would entail. She also sent me a list of supposedly film companies they are tied with and then sent me some sample screenplays that were supposedly optioned. However I was able to contact the author of one of these screenplays and asked her if this was true and she said it was all false and they were lying. I sent some screenshots of the emails. I have a feeling these people are tied to new reader magazine because there are a lot of these companies from the Philippines that scam people claiming to have film ties. I was actually able to talk to a script doctor that works for universal and Netflix that is on IMDb. He said There is no such thing as a big database for these major film companies go to look for books from these little third party companies. They are people in the companies that do this work on their own and are they are only going to be interested in your book if it is a number one best seller. If your book has not sold that many companies it is not in bookstores or a number one seller no big film company is going to be looking at a script for it. These types of companies present false lies to prey on people.
