This is fraudulent company thay ruined my second chance at life. They gave me a fake check to deposit into my account, and when confronted the hiring manager "Henry Lawhorn" decided to ghost me and not answer any of my questions as to what happened. This was my last resort and last chance to have a second chance banking account that i had opened specifically for this job as they do not accept Chime for direct deposit. They dragged me through the mud in a week long process, gave ME attitude àbout their fake check not going through! Once confronted he ran for the hills and hasnt replied to me since. I strongly urge you to NEVER apply to this company or download an app called Signal. They absolutely destroyed all of the progress Ive made over the years, and I'm out of ever being able to start over again. My spirit is crushed and my bills cannot be paid this month. I'm going to lose everything I own because of this.

While looking for employment on Indeed, I came across an ad for employment for a remote Data Entry position with Edgewood Health. I provided my resume, and received an email from a Mr. Justin Kelley who is listed as the Director of the hiring department. I was instricted to reach out using the Signal platform to a Mrs. STEPHANIE SMITH @ (681) 208-9410. Everything was done through the chat and then I received notice from her saying that I was hired. She directed me to an onboarding link - careers.edgewoodhealth.org and they asked me for IDs such as license, social card, and my bank information, email, phone number and address. I provided it all. Once I uploaded everything, I messaged her, and she never responded. Ive tried to call Edgewood's HR number, but nothing is available. They provide a number 701-738-2000, but no human answers. This is a scam!

I applied for a new remote job, and after doing the on-boarding process, I began to question the legitimacy of the company and called the business to confirm some things. They alerted me that this was a scam and someone has been listing jobs on indeed using that business’s information, to obtain social security numbers and other personal information.

Someone named Samantha Pauley used the Signal App to connect with me and have me complete an application over Google Drive. Later, I had been offered the job and was given tax documents to fill out. These were standard documents in the U.S. and required my PII (SSN, birth date, name, etc).

They claim to be in “Upper Mid-West and Northern Great Plains”.

- Ludlow, MA, USA

I found the job position on Glassdoor.com, applied and the following day received an email stating they wanted to move forward with an interview. I was instructed to install Signal App which is used to communicate with the employer. After filing out an Interview Questionnaire, reading the core values that were sent to me and answering questions from someone going by the name of Samantha Pauley, she interview ended. The next morning I received a message on the Signal App stating I was selected for the position and would be sent login info via email to receive access to their portal. I received access and completed the on-boarding documents which included: Basic Information, Contact Information, Emergency Contacts, Payroll Information (account/routing number), I-9 form and Welcome letter. When Samantha began to talk about funds being disbursed to me for equipment I became uneasy. I ended up calling Edgewood Healthcare where I spoke with someone in the hiring department and right away they were able to tell me it was a scam and I wasn't the only one.

I applied for a position on indeed listed as remote Data entry clerk. I was was contacted via email to download signal and contact my hiring manager Henry Lawhorn to set up an interview. I was offered the job and was sent a link to fill out the onboarding process where I unfortunately was asked for my personal information and identity.
