SCAM! Beware this company. They make promises, take money and do nothing for months. They scammed me, and the friend who had referred them to me. They have ghosted me, and kept the money they were given. They use the name Kay Tree Service, El Cheapo Tree Service, The Weed Man. These names are not disclosed until you insist on an invoice. However, having that invoice has done me no good at all. They took my money, left a terrible mess on my property, destroyed beloved plants, and then completely stopped communications, after promising a refund which never came.
The pile of detritus you see here measured 11'x4'x3' and was left on the side of my home from August to November of last year. It also contains plants they'd pulled up, that were dear to me. They did nothing. Used every excuse including the breeze and drizzle to be no-shows or leave the premises.
I wish I'd seen this news report before I hired them.

There is currently a case with the LA county DA's office, Elder Abuse unit (see more detail in my review above) and any additional information about his criminal activity could be very useful to us.

We are skeptical to reach out given the terrifying circumstances we find ourselves in.

robert aka keilin d. alvarez andino aka kay will take your money and never finish the job. if you do hire him do not give me more than on days pay. his scam is working one day and telling what else he needs to do for you, he takes your money for the additional work and never show up for work again. just google law suites against el cheapo tree services also goes by the blow boys or the weed man. his partner in this crime is andrea swinhart. the scam is a LLC aka limited liability company. he's been on tv news interview for ripping off 2 women in pasadena who called the news channel news for help. he is not licensed and lies claiming to be a aborist. he had two kids johnathan and rosa do my yard work. these kids should of been in school they were so young. i would just get some one else. the sad part is he said that he was a discharged navy seal. some way for a veteran to act!

Keilin Andino Alvarez is a swindler and a crook. He befriended an elderly friend of mine at the beginning of 2020/Covid as an "arborist" and proceeded to con and scam her out of her entire life savings. I would appreciate anyone sharing with me the channel the TV news interview, I would like to get in touch with them. We filed a police report and now have a case with the LA County DA for elder abuse. Anyone else out there with similar stories about this criminal please contact me. I will try to find a way to post a contact email here.

Hired under the name Kay Tree Service, but rthe name El Cheapo Tree Service was disclosed later. Money was all sent to Owner, Robert Ramos's account, but communications were between him, and the "owner" of Kay Tree Service. After 2 months, barely any work was done, but a mess was left on my property. Kay Tree Service promised a refund, which has never come. Robert Ramos has never responded.
