I was told that I would earn commission by completing tasks and that I needed to complete 38 tests and then I would be able to withdraw my commission which came to $93.11 yesterday and when I went to withdraw that they told me that I needed to have $100 in order to withdraw it afterwards and then today I would be able to do another 38 tasks and earn today's commission but in order to do that I had a task that made my balance a negative and that I needed to deposit $70 temporarily to an address using bitcoins and that after I had completed that they would return my deposit and I would receive $17.90 commission on that one task I told them I did not have $70 to make a deposit with and that if they had give me my commission from the day before then I would and they gave me a run around telling me that I still needed to make a deposit in order to get my money back so my total commission was $104.11 now and they are refusing to give me anything because I will not make a $70 deposit with no guarantee that I will get that back

I received a text from a recruiter named "Hannah Polston" at 9:58 AM EST on 2/21/2024 reaching out about part and full time job offers through FlexJobs. Of course, as I am job hunting, I was interested and asked for more information—specific about full time work. My first red flag was she immediately gave me information about part time work amounting to about 5-7 hours a week with a monthly gain of about $15,200 at base. (If my math is correct, that's about $542/hour, which is an obscene rate considering Glass Door says "App Store Optimization" makes a max average of $87,000/year in NYC.)

I replied telling her I don't have any experience doing ASO optimization, and my experience and talents lie elsewhere (as stated in my resume, which I assumed she had and made mention of that). My second red flag was her reply: it was poor English stating that I have "a lot of skill to can do it." I do not have the skill to do ASO optimization. I've never done it.

When I asked her for her LinkedIn profile, she dodged the question. When I continued to ask for her credentials, she linked the Flex Jobs website and continued to dodge the question. I ended the conversation here, making sure I knew she was a scammer.

Be careful out there, friends. Don't get fooled by these fake employment scammers! Most recruiters won't reach out via text. Most will reach out via email or LinkedIn (LinkedIn primarily in my experience), and even then I find the applications I put into jobs myself (through recruitment sites or directly into companies) tend to get more attention than I get from cold-calling recruiters. Don't be afraid to ask for verification that the person is who they say they are, and don't be afraid to call up the company asking if that person is employed there. (And Google is your friend. If you're here on this site, you know that!)

Good luck on your hunt!

This company is a pyramid scheme designed to defraud you. It goes by many names but two include Anchor International and Radiance Marketing. The company Radiance had to change names because of many post online like reddit providing evidence to the scam. The two companys have the exact same address. Many of the higher up employees have both companys listed on their Linkedin. The website was completely generated by AI. They create job postings online using websites like Indeed to attract potential victims. This company is a scam to gather your information. Their are also reports onlins stating that some people have not been paid or have had money taken out their checks.

Offered a paid shopper job. I went to buy $750 worth of gift cards and he deposited the money in my account. After, he said he would let me keep $100. He ended up taking all $850 and I had to pay for the gift cards myself.

Person got me speaking to them thru WhatsApp. Went thru the process of creating an account on this website: https://www.travel-hotel-zy.com/h5/#/pages/withdrawal/withdrawal

And also had me download MetaMask to be able to take any cryptocurrency I had there. Saying that’s how I would make money. Then they insisted I purchase more in order to make the $101 needed to continue the sets of tasks required to make profits on the above website.

I recently applied to a work from home company name ‘Pioneer Library System’. I signed a contract stating the terms and conditions and an I-9 form with my social security number, address, and full name and sent it back. After that, a person by the name of **** ****** also known as Maya [censored]up sent an invoice of $3,500 for me to receive my equipment which included a MacBook, iPhone 12,HP printer, and a service fee. Then stated I’d receive my money back in the form of a deposit or check and asked for my bank.

Numerous red flags concerning this supposed business. A look at the "employee review" page companies Indeed.com profile reveals the job descriptions are heavily misleading an example follows: https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Primetime-Business-Consultants/reviews/counterproduct... .

Moreover the company Yelp page only has two five star reviews, which comes from two accounts. These accounts are potentially sockpuppets due to the fact they have been created recently and both of them have only reviewed primetime business consultants. These reviews have been hidden by yelp due to the websites AI algorithm determining them to be suspicious. However they are still viewable under the "not recommended reviews" tab

Finally the interview process was extremely unprofessional. The woman inteviewer appeared to be conducting the interview from her home, judging by the background. Additionally she claimed Primetime Business Consultants acted as a middleman for a "Native American Scholarship Fund" despite this claim, their website reveals no such partnership.

Speaking of their website, additional suspicious elements indicate a scam. First of all, there's absolutely no contact information other than an apparently hiring focused email: [email protected] Furthermore the "Our Team" page is empty, no staff members names are given. Additionally generic stock images and quotes abound. Job descriptions and have little in the way of qualifications are vague particularly with regard to payment.

The scammer’s email came to me through my university, he presented himself as Graham Rossman and that he was needing an assistant. He said he’d pay me $750 weekly and I would use the rest of the check to complete his tasks. However, whenever I tried to transfer money to complete his tasks, they were marked as scams

Joann Price contacted me in regards to a application I supposedly filled out on indeed. I looked at indeed but the company name didn't match what I truly applied too. I was then proceeded to download signal messenger where I would go through an interview process (answering questions.) I applied I believe on the 19th of February, was contacted the 20th for the interview. I got the final notice that I was accepted today on the 21st. This was for a 100% fully remote position, 30/h plus benefits. They would also send me money for equipment that was needed, which I also found to be weird. When I contacted the "manager" who did the interview, I asked to have a zoom meeting, no answer then she left group chat. I also tried contacting Joann, number doesn't go through. I finally called the actual place and confirmed with the lady that they don't have that position available and that it is a scam

I was looking up Hannah Polston from flexjobs and I found a review with the same message I got last night, and its the same one as the 1st message in this forum. Unfortunately I responded politely to learn more about the opportunity, thinking this would be good, now I'm worried that I'm being scammed.

I received a text message from someone claiming to be a recruiter for flex jobs which is identical to the text message that is posted on here already. I was asked if I was interested and I was curious, so I said sure, and they said the interviewer would be reaching out to me on WhatsApp. They did reach out to me, and I am no longer engaging, but they went onto describe the working conditions of a job with Airbnb.
