Received text from an email address trying ‘recruit’ me for a job with temu. She said her name is Lena and she’s a recruiter from adjust. There was a 510 area code number that I was suppose to call if I was interested. I know 510 is Oakland/bay area.

Interview was done entirely via e-mail and MS Teams. They immediately hired me after an online survey "interview". They then inquired about my banking information in order to "send me office equipment" for the fake remote administrative assistant position they offered me. This is the second work from home scam I have stumbled across within the last week. I just want to warn others not to fall victim to these as I have before.

I received an email from Patrick James.hiring office@gmail.com

I then researched the email and company because the pay seemed too good to be true $35.90 per hour plus incentives for a data entry position. The email stated to Kindly contact hiring officer Julius Turner on Microsoft teams. Please look out, this email has been used to try and scam other people with different company accounts. Sad that you have to do so much verifying now a days when looking for a job. They also stated I sent an application in and they wanted to now do an interview I just know I didn’t send in anything to a company called First Round Capital. If it’s too good to be true please verify for your sake.

I was contacted via. Telegram offered a $** sign on bonus for an online at home job. Optimizing products buying and selling, making small profits on each item. Click, click, click!!! I was trained 1st day in Anna's account making Aprox **$, She transferred the money into my personal account and I repeted the process there and was able to make roughly **$ I was prompted to cash out, but keep $** of my earnings in System. For next days assignments. I left ***** and was able to cash out **$, Day two I trained again and made an additional **$ that was transferred to my account. Apon trying to complete tasks the system jams and says I got to deposit **$ to continue. I don't have $**. Even though I was able to cash out when I asked for help. I was told to BARROW the money... I guess ill just loose that lil bit.

Yes scam, call me to say ima parcel inspection package job was available for $4000 a month. That i would receive packages to my house put lables on them and drop them off at my convenience, horrible connection quality on her end. As soon as i head $4000 a month and $30 dollars a package i said never mind im not interested and hung up, total scam
