He said that I won a sweepstake and I just have to get a registration for them to bring a certified check because it is over $100000 to my state of Maryland. He instructed me to purchase a Greendot Money Pass Scratch card from a Drug store and call him back to give him the number on the card.

Sent a letter in the mail with an almost official looking perforated seal saying happy birthday. They had a rewards code and offered $150 spending money a 3/2 night stay at a hotel and a $50 gift card. It was sent by the "accounting division" and was "signed" by the Regional awards division vice president of an unknown company. It came with a certificate that looked similar to a check and included the recipients name and address.

Just got a message from that MSLA tellin me i wont 500k and had to message a number 'WIN500K". I did that but i looked up the name they claimed to be, "Multi state lottery association" and i saw this page explaining a scam so i deleted the message and blocked the guy. The guy did message me hello and asked me to put in my information like location and etc. But i deleted the message and i dont plan on repsonding to it

I received a private message from the Facebook messenger that said i won 1,000,000 dollars. They had specific details saying they worked for Facebook and FedEx was delivering the check. It didn't happen.

No money was lost because I investigated the information online before I contacted anyone. Eventhough the mailer mentioned that I did have a claim number (CML13), and that the award that I had won was valued at $1,180.00, I was not convinced that it was legitimate.

I received a card in the mail via U.S Postal Service and the return address is listed as 2020 Pennsylvania Avenue NW #421 Washington, DC 20006 and came from the "Accounting Division". The card indicates I have won a paid vacation plus $150 in spending money and a $50 Darden Restaurant Card. There is a code on the card and a phone number of 1-866-664-9153 and I am asked to call this number to claim my prize. I would never fall for this scam but I wanted to file a claim anyway and fight against these people. There are people that do fall victim to these scams and are defrauded, sometimes, out of a lot of money. Please help shut these scammers down and help bring them to justice.

Called with my claim number to unclaimed reward for a gift card worth $100 dollars. Gave said claim number to the person and the person said I won a gift card to use at Walmart target etc but the person said I need to fork over $1.95 to activate the card after he told me I won this gift card. I should not have to pay for something I won. Scammer. Tried calling back and they were very rude to me.
