I was scam

Someone I know texted me about this grant but I don’t think it was that person I know they used her name so I sent 300.00 with a Amazon gift card so he said I was approved for 20,000 grant then he texted me back and said they couldn’t use that but they would add to my grant money’ but I needed to get a Steam gift card for the 300.00 send it that’s when I got uneasy about the hole thing.

AT first i was contacted by my friend, Peggy Crotty through Instant Messsenger. I find it strange but her picture is there so we talked a bit then she asked if i heard of UNDP United Nations Development Program saying Federal Government assisting people paying bills and all that even helping raise their children, disabled with old and retired people. She also said she received $150,000 and need to apply and have money deliver to my doorstep.
i was so preoccupied all day because i was running around and yet been in communication with Linda Philo. i got so far before i realized what i had done (gave too much information) now im fearing if they would invade my $$$. pension check, etc etc. im so scared now. i need help to stop from getting my information being out there! im so vunerable right now!
she still want to process and send me money etc ... i finally checked with my girlfriend who sent me this info and turned out it is a scam oh shoot! what can i do to prevent this to happen to our accounts etc?
i saved all of my converstions with her... pls advise
