Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against the cryptocurrency trading platform getcryptoworld.com, previously known as ibifutures.com, for suspected online fraud, scam, and financial exploitation.
I invested funds in the form of USDT (Tether) on ibifutures.com. Without prior notice, the website became inaccessible. After approximately one month, I received an email stating that the platform had been updated and merged with a new platform—getcryptoworld.com—and that all my data and funds had been transferred automatically. I followed the verification instructions, logged in successfully to getcryptoworld.com, and my USDT balance was visible in the wallet.
When I tried to withdraw my funds, the platform stated I needed to complete trading before any withdrawals could be made. I complied and started trading. Later, when I submitted another withdrawal request, they imposed several unexpected and exorbitant charges, as follows:
Stamp Duty: 1.2%
Investor Protection Fund Fee: 1.7% (allegedly mandated by the Securities and Exchange Commission)
Withdrawal Fee: 15% of my total personal assets
I was instructed to deposit these fees in USDT into my getcryptoworld.com wallet to facilitate the withdrawal process. Despite complying and transferring the required amount, my withdrawal was not processed. Instead, the platform became unresponsive for an extended period.
After several unanswered inquiries, I received a vague response that a suspicious activity was being investigated, and my verification would be completed within a day. That never happened. I continued asking for clarification and a definite date for withdrawal, but the platform kept replying with excuses such as technical issues or system updates.
Eventually, when I warned them via email that I would report the matter to authorities for cybercrime, fraud, and financial deception, they immediately blocked my account, and I have been unable to access it since.
Throughout this experience, the platform applied psychological pressure by threatening penalties if I failed to trade or pay so-called withdrawal fees. However, no clear terms and conditions were ever provided, nor were these charges communicated transparently from the beginning.
I now fully believe that getcryptoworld.com is a fraudulent platform engaging in organized online financial scams. I request your esteemed authority to:
1. Initiate an urgent investigation into getcryptoworld.com and its operations.
2. Take necessary actions to shut down the platform and prevent further victimization.
3. Help me in the recovery of my funds transferred in USDT.
4. If required, I am ready to provide all supporting documents, including emails, transaction proofs, wallet addresses, and screenshots.
