Global OTB Reports & Reviews (16)

I just received a phone call from Christina. She was speaking very fast I could barely understand what she was explaining. However, she said she would send me text email about the interview process. Something didn't set well me because she called me at 10:25 am and the one line interview would take place at 10:30am. She also told me I had to log in 2 mins earlier.

The text reads: Hello, this is Christine Lucas, Reminder You are scheduled for an interview Today at 10:30 am with our global company to work at home. You will go to WORKATHOMEOTB .COM for your Interview. Your password is prosper. Reply that you will login 2 mins early.

The second text: This is Christine, Reminder You are scheduled for an interview Today at 11:30 with our global company to work at home. Go here Now https://jfk5.com/beBR5 to fill out your Pre-Interview Questionnaire. Go to https://hwy.to/beBR7 for your Interview. Your password is prosper. Reply you will login 2 mins early.

I am do happy I search the company before I filled out the information in the links that she sent me. As soon as I type in the company's name, all the scams pop up for the fake company. Is getting hard and hard out here to find job without getting scammed in some kind of way.

I got a text from Betsy from global otb she gave me password prosper I thought it might be a scam cuz I have this phone app called call app+ it showed up spam as I hung up so I got online and Google dang I found all these reviews ty for these needless to say I won't be doing the interview and I will be blocking her phone number and won't be applying for anymore work from home jobs I found it on Facebook under events so heads up don't get sucked in

As I was looking for remote side gig i received a call from a very nice lady name Kathy Jo. When stated that I had apply for a job at their site, but it wasn't one in a list i keep of site that i had visit. Shortly after i received a text that explains to log in for a interview with a password PROSPER. Normally because of the many scammer getting their hand on personal information i always look into companies background and of course i found this. Indeed, Career builders, Monster and etc...need to check employers credentials, people trust the sites and they should be able to help keep personal information out of hands of these scammers.

I received a text stating my application was viewed and Billie Rae called me. I called back and she stated that the interview would be at 6pm or 8 pm tonight which is weird. That its a Global Online business and I would have my own work schedule be my own boss When I asked what type of company would I be working for she said the 14 minute interview would let me know and go over everything.
I blocked after reading these reviews.

Omg something just told me this was a scam. I had this gut feeling and when I searched Wendy Vrelland this came up. She gave me the same instructions telling me to log in 2 min before my interview and that to log in interview200.com and use posper for password. Whew I’m so glad I didn’t. Thank God for these reviews. I was searching work at home jobs earlier online on indeed. This needs to be stopped asap.

My experience was the same as the above responses. The caller wouldn't even tell me what the job was about. She said I would get all the info during the interview.

At that point I knew it was not what I was applying for. I saw the hiring notice on snagajob.com

On indeed.com the reviews were clearly written by someone trying to make the company sound legitimate, the red flag was... all of the reviews were written in broken English and spelling.

NOTE: I WAS APPLYING FOR A WRITING JOB!

I got two calls from a lady saying her name is Michelle Rodrigo. I didn't answer the first call but she called back a second time and curiosity got the best of me so I answered. Her phone number came up as that name with a Kissimmee Florida phone number 407-749-2387. She said she was calling bcuz of a job inquiry I had made. I was looking this morning for legitimate (if there are any) online jobs and this is what I came across instead. She told me to write down and log into workfromhomeotb.com two minutes before my interview with the password prosper. Once I did this I ran across this article so needless to say I wont be answering any more phone calls this morning

Same she here and she gave me the same web address and password

Same person, Michelle rodrigo called me as well about an employment opportunity and said I could choose between part time or full time. Gave me a password: prosper, and said to login to work at home otb.com 7pm. I didn't do it, I just looked up the website and it said it was a scam. I want be answering my phone either.

Got a phone call from a woman who said her name was Karen Congdon. I had previously been checking out some work from home positions and she said she was setting up an interview for me with OTB. She asked me which interview time I would prefer 9pm or 10pm. I told her 9pm. She told me to log into INTERVIEW4OTB.org at 8:57pm. She sent a detailed message to my phone requesting that I text back that I would log in 3 minutes earlier than my interview appointment time. She also told me to check my email and there would be a questionaire to fill out to see if I qualified, to see if I had what they were looking for. She said check my email and respond prior to the interview. I found the email in my spam folder but before filling it out I signed in for the interview. It was a recording, very unprofessionally done. I remember Karen telling me when I logged in for the interview to make sure I put the address in the address bar and not in the search bar which I found a little odd. During the recorded interview I did a google search and SCAM came up immediately. I signed out and replied that I was not interested.

Wendy Vreeland texted me about a work from home job. I was excited to receive the text. Then I received a call she told me to write down information about the interview sound professional. However, I never filled out an online application to work from home. I just wrote down the information. She says I will have to be in front of a computer for the interview and log on 2 minutes before 7pm today 3-9-2020. I looked up globalotb and I found these replies that the call and company is a scam. Big disappointment. This fake company needs to be stopped. So many people needs jobs and they are putting people at risk.

At first, I received an email from a lady by the name of Natali instructing me to set up an interview for a work from home job that I had applied for (I have no memory of any such application) But, when I opened the email, it was from a male. Then I received a phone call. The caller said his name was Ed Donbrosky. The company has been in business since 2009. They were looking for self motivated part time or full time people. Funny since I Never sent an email to inquire, but received a call wanting to set up an interview for the next day at 11am or 2pm via online he gave ma a website and password to visit www.globalotb.com Pw: prosper They said that I would need to log in 2 minutes before the set up time for the interview with pen and paper. The interview should take 30 minutes and I would need to complete & return an information sheet before the interview that he would be emailing me. He said I may need to check the spam folder if it’s not in the inbox. Funny also, since all legit interviews have you fill that information out during the application. I never followed through with the interview since it was an obvious scam.
