I keep receiving letters from the Home Warranty Division saying my home warranty is due to expire and I need to call them by September 15th. I signed up with them back in March but I believe this is a scam. A lot of my neighbors are receiving the same letters in the mail.

Received “FINALNOTICE” letter to inform property home warranty expired and to activate a warranty before it’s too late. A $199.00 “Registration Fee Voucher” was attached.

Monthly mailed letters to my home telling me I need to respond immediately about extending the warranty on my mortgage. They have my bank name and other personal information. There is no company name, address, or email to report them to stop sending me mail and harassing me.

Immediate respond requested

Frequent mailings wanting to renew warranty on a car or home.

This is a non-existing current warranty, so actually an attempt to get you to renew a non-existant account by sending out false claims that its the FINAL NOTICE in hopes you call them in fear of losing this 'non-existant

warranty'.

Non-ending threatening letters. In spite of numerous requests to take me off their mailing list, they continue. I tried to file a complaint with the local BBB, but only was told not to contact them. Phone number in my letters is 888-509-9320.

I received this letter in mail on Friday, telling me that it my final notice with this $199 Registration Fee Voucher without any explanation of the home warranty coverage, company's name or anything linking then anywhere.

The only identifying details were my contact information and mortgage company.

Which is very frustrating to me, because needing the cash I almost attempted to deposit this check via my mobile bank app, until my conscious said check them out on the internet.

Then when I looked on the back of the check there is no secure anything on it and that drew more concerns.

People, please be ware of this scam and do not cash this voucher and/or link your bank account to this bogus stuff.

I wish there was a way to sue these folks for what I feel is harassment and make them pay us all the money that they are offering on this fake voucher as their penalty.

Then at the bottom in fine print they have nerve enough to say "THIS IS NOT A CHECK" .

However, it says "TO THE ORDER OF", as though it's a check leaving off the word "PAY".

Such a SCAM!

Receiving 1 to multiple threatening letters regarding need for Home Warranty and threatened financial liability need to respond immediately and each letter is a final attempt. Registration Voucher of $199. No address, changing phone numbers, no information on product or cost. I am concerned people may be taken by this scheme.

I receive this sort of bogus letter from time to time and it makes me FURIOUS. They're obviously scams and go directly into the trash. But some people must be fooled by these bogus letters and end up calling them and probably losing money on a worthless non-product.

These predators should be SHUT DOWN AND PINISHED for engaging in this type of despicable, bogus, scare-tactics and exploitative behaviors.

I received a home warranty letter say Final Notice and I called no answer but I was wondering if they could retrieve information from my phone number

I received several notices saying that my Home Warranty was expiring. They included my bank name. When I called them I asked if the insurance was a requirement and they said yes. I said I have owned this home for a long time and never heard of this being a requirement. She became very aggressive. She said because it comes with the house. I said well I had a warranty for many years that I discontinued. I haven't had a warranty for a few years. She said that she knew and that is why is was important that I take care of it today. She said it has to do with the pipes running from the house to the street along with heater, cooler, appliances etc. I said I will call my bank directly than I will call my city manager and ask them if it truly is a requirement. She said well today is your last day you really need to take care of this. I called my bank. They checked the number and said it is a scam. In very tiny print at the end of the notice it says we are not affiliated with your current mortgage lender. I am wondering how many elderly people get bullied into purchasing this. Please check into this!

I received this letter in the mail, I do not have home warranty nor do I have a home loan… I recognize this as a scam, so I called… And it’s obviously a scam. I am trying to help anyone who might be scammed by this in the future!!

"Freddy" kept telling me the name of the company is Home Warranty Division. I asked him for the website and he said homewarrantydivision.com. When I told him there was no such website he admitted it was a scam. I also informed him that, per the FCC, since I have not done business with him in the last 18 months it is illegal to contact me.

This letter was sent to an elderly family member. It pressures the reader regarding purchasing a “home warranty.” It has a threatening tone, which could easily be misunderstood by an elderly reader. There is no clear sender or address.

The letter I received appeared to be authentic, to the best of my ability to identify it as such.

When I called the number on the letter, I got an immediate answer from their end. In my experience, this almost never happens. You are almost always placed on hold, some standard audio recording then followed by a prompt, but this was picked up instantly as if you were calling someone's landline.

When I asked why I needed "Extended" coverage on my home warranty, the answers I was given was very misleading and inaccurate. Stating that my warranty would be expiring and unless I got the extended coverage I would have to cover the costs myself. I knew this to be false, but again, they are purposely misleading with this information.

Knowing that I have warranty on my home, I asked what it is they needed from me. They said they needed to cover some basic information about the services and then they would need the payment information for the monthly installments. This was the biggest red flag and I hung up at this point.

This individual and or company is purposely providing exceedingly misleading information to secure a purchase from the victim of warranty services they do not need!

I just got a postcard, that seams legit, containing 'warranty replacement notice'.
I am grateful for the posts on this webpage, to be aware of the possible scam.

It initially looked legit because it had everything about my house, including the bank I just got a home equity loan from. Apparently, all this information is available from your county records to anyone. I've never had a warranty, and I've been getting a bunch of these official looking letters that are fake, so I threw it away.
