I called the bank to verify and they could not disclose the validity of the check, but provided me with enough information to determine it was fake. It's missing the suite number for the address, and there is no Angeles, California. They left out the "Los" part.

That above was the email sent to me from OKJOBMATCH.COM
Little did I know it was a scam. Went on Google Hangout. They hire me on the spot after asking many questions and what it was I was interested in Supply chain and logistics. Their excuse in hiring in the U.S. is that they want to expand and have an office in the U.S. soon and that is why they are reaching out to us. About 20 other candidates are getting hired.
So they say, listen, we are going to send you a Check and we need you to mobile deposit in your checking account and we need you to pay for your items in order for you to receive it soon to include your W4 and employment paperwork. I deposit the check and then they want me to use Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal (did not work for me), Google Pay and iTunes Card. They needed me to pay these vendors so that they can deliver my items to my house.
The so called The HR Manager, Bryan Hudson who is probably fake and used someone's identity continued to chat on Google Hangout. Then a few days later, he tells me to download Telegram, his Google Hangout is having some technical issues. He emails me to start early and send money to these greedy vendors and did not occur to me that I was putting myself in danger. I'm still so upset over this.
These are regular people receiving these moneys and I believe they need to be accountable for their actions by stealing from people during an pandemic or not. They need to be ashamed of themselves.
Finally on Thursday 5/14/2020 I get an email from my bank USAA saying that the checks I have been depositing are Fraudulent and Ficticious. I start hyperventilating and got sick to my stomach because now, after sending those a-holes money, it's money that was not even real and am now responsible for the money that was never in my account to begin with. I felt so freaking stupid for falling for this type of scam. Like they say, if you do not know the people you are sending the money to on those apps and they are pushing you to send the money to the vendors, I suggest you tell them to f-off and they get incurable cancer for trying. So to make my story short, my bank shut my USAA account down and is doing an investigation for three days. I should know soon if I have to pay that out of pocket now that it happened.
I was so upset that people are greedy to the point of taking money from hard working families and their children. At the end, whoever receives the money that they scammed it from, they know they're going to hell. I hate people that do these things, no honesty in making a buck so they steal instead.
