This number called several times in one day so I finally answered it. A recording said that it was the final warning from the IRS concerning my debt owed to them. The recording went on to say that there was a warrant for my arrest in place with my local police station.

I received an automated phone call saying that it was the IRS and I needed to contact them in order to avoid criminal prosecution. I called the number and the person answered with "IRS". He told me his name and badge number but said it too fast for me to understand. He wanted to verify my name. I told him that I didn't think I could do that because I thought he was trying to get my personal information. He said that I should hang up then and face criminal prosecution.

I have received 2 phone back to back on 5/1/2017 leaving a message stating they are the Internal Revenue Service and the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. That I need to call 1-229-232-8334 to talk about the case file, which they do not leave a case file number.

I called the number *67-1-229-232-8334 and at first it rang once and then nothing so I call back again using the same number and it did it again. I called one last time and some old man answered phone and I asked who he was and all he can say is "I can't hear you, I can't hear you." So I said "Who are you, Who are you" And I finally gave up because I think he was brushing me off by stating he couldn't hear me.

I have never received a phone from the IRS before!!!!

This is a scam!!!!!

This seems to be the same person. Robot voice left me a message stating the Internal Revenue Service was collecting back taxes on me and said I should call the number (732)243-0936. I called the number knowing it was a scam but from a blocked number, foreign guy answers 'Internal Revenue Service"....o told him I was returning a call from a voicemail, he asked my name, of course I refuse to give him my name. I cursed him and stated he better never call me back. Several minutes later my phone rang from a blocked number, I sent it to voicemail, they didn't leave a message. I know it was him..

I received below voicemail today April 28, 2017 @11:12 am. Some woman was calling me and saying that she was calling from Internal Revenue Service about some Walgreens and CVS Stevia charges against me. She was asking me to call back from the same number a.s.a.p. Or within the next couple of hours, otherwise my files will be defaulted to a local police as they received an order to arrest me. She had a broken Asian accent.

Robot call to voicemail with only half message recorded with return phone number. I called the number (540)208-5540 and a young man answered. I couldn't make out what he said at pickup, I asked who it was, he said the IRS Internal Revenue Service and he was a officer. Said that I owed back taxes. He said I need to get a Criminal Atty and bring to court cause I was facing 5 years in prison. He had my address but I did not confirm. I said some really ugly things and he hung up. I reported to JPSO mainly because he knew my address. The officer recommend that I contact www.ftc.gov which I did and BBB. Also I recorded the conversation. Thanks for accepting my complaint...

Informed I owed back taxes. I asked for callers name and where he was calling from. Stated name was Anthony Bradley and he was calling from Avondale, PA. Asked for supervisor. Was asked"who the hell do I think I am, asking for supervisor, however, supervisor name was Don Koniski. Went on to inform me my assets, house and all bank accounts would be seized and I could pay now or a warrant would be issued for my arrest.

Called left a robot voice message on my phone. called back said there was a warrant out for my arrest and if i didn't pay, i would go to jail. they told me i owed the IRS $2500. needed a down payment to get the warrant lifted. they didn't take any payment over the phone. I kept asking how i can pay this back and how this is the first i was hearing of it and they kept telling me i would go to jail if i didn't pay it. they did verify my address.

The man (who had a foreign accent) after ringing the number given texting me I owed the Internal Revenue Service $5,545. and some odd cents. I just informed him I couldn't have since I have been out of the country for the last ten years. He said that he would look into it and call me back. Today my son rang me to let me know there is a scam going around regarding this exact thing so I rang you all up. Thank goodness I did.
