A message was left on my voice mail stating that "The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 714.8136673. Thank you."

The # is a California cell phone.

I did not return the call.

This is the 3rd call I got from 202-459-4681

The fist time was to confirm it was me on the phone.

July 26, 2016 - The 2nd time it said it was Officer Daniel Whiteman a detective for the IRS -

Internal Revenue Service.

I needed to have my lawyer or myself return the call because it was a criminal case default of taxes and if I did

not respond it would fall out . I then drove to an Internal Revenue Service at a close city to me. . I showed them the number and name given to me. She suggested I block the phone number which I did. She did say that the IRS doesn't call people for default taxes. She did say they have been trying to track it down but haven't succeeded yet. Hope this help get to the culprits soon!!!!!!

On July 22, 2016 we had a call from this person/number Jhon Scott phone #631-808-6011 advising us that this was a Final Notice from the IRS that there were legal charges pending against us and there would be a Federal Investigation against us and it was our legal obligation to contact them at this number 631-808-6011.

I contacted the Moody County Sheriff’s office to see if they handled this type of call and they said we should advise the ScamPulse.com, so that is why I’m sending you this information. I realize it is very hard to trace these calls, but perhaps some of the information may be helpful in trying to stop these calls.

Claiming that I owed back taxes from past years. $3670.41. A mistake was made.

They tried to get in touch with me by mail. Yellow slip on door. now I have to pay or it will be worse. I will be in a federal case with them because I did not fix this when ask to. After waisting my time they wanted me to go get 2 iTunes card for $500.00 each from Walgreens to pay a payment. They had me keep them on the line the whole time on the way to wallgreens. I could not include a third party. When I got home from Walgreens the S.D. City of had called 4 times and US Govt

I didn't give them any money but they took up my whole Morning. And now they are messing with my afternoon.

"Going to arrest you for five criminal allegations. So before this matter goes to the court house and you get rested kindly get back to us at 315-256-9524. I repeat 315-256-9524. Now. If you don't return the call then the only thing that I can do is wish you good luck."

I called the number to see what it is, and the person said they are the IRS. She hung up and called the police. They said that this scam is coming from Nigeria and they are getting bank account numbers and social security numbers from people.
