Threatening phone call saying if I didn't pay in the next 45 mins that they would send the case to the court house and issue a warrant for my arrest. Then I would be sitting behind bars for the next 30 days til my court date and then face up to 5 years in prison.

I was contacted by someone impersonating the IRS saying that I had been audited 2 years ago and never payed and that I must pay $2,603 dollars now over the phone and if I were to not pay or hang up the phone a warrant for my arrest would be issued. I finally hung up the phone and called the IRS myself and found that it was a scam.

I received a call identifyting themselves as the IRS. It said to call them back or they would bring a lawsuit against me.

I called the number and she said Internal Revenue service. But spoke very foreign accent. I hung up.

Here's the number 206-488-7807 Bainbridge Island Washington.

Please let me know if this is a scam.

Received a phone call today from a woman who did not identify herself; she said she was calling for the Internal Revenue Service and that they (the IRS) were filing a lawsuit against us. She said we should call back immediately at this # 206-451-0649.

Consumer reported that she received a telephone call from an automated system that claimed to be the IRS.  The automated message stated that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against the consumer and told her to call 543-645-6439 for more information.

this number called me today ...786-691-3418..and said they were from the "legal affairs of the IRS"..they did not give me their names..but they told me that the IRS was suing me for unpaid taxes and fraud and etc. Ask me if I had an attorney and to give them his name. Told them I did not owe IRS anything. They read me a "disclosure" form that they said has been mailed to me numerous times..and since I had chosen to disregard..that they were gong to put a lien on my property and bank account within 45 minutes after ending the call. I have called the IRS and they confirmed I owe nothing..and then I notified the state police and my local police, and now you.

I looked up the phone number online and it is out of Florida..or so it says.

Please look into this and maybe have them arrested.

I have been receiving Phone calls With a Indian accent Phone number is 202-378-4907, telling me they were from the IRS and were filling a law suit against us, and as soon I told him that The IRS dose not use the phone they would send the information in the mail. He hung up.

I have been getting daily phone calls from the same phone number: 855-735-4667. I answered it once about 10 days ago. It sounded like a recorded message about the IRS and that I owed money. I immediately hung up and have not answered since. They continue to call once or twice a day. Hopefully, I hope they get caught.

I received a phone call from a phone number 206-451-9902 stating that they were the IRS and wanted be to call them because I was going to be issued an arrest warrant due to a pending case against me. I have always filed my taxes and paid them on time. I called this number and they asked me for my name, DOB, and Social Security Number. The person I was talking to way quite surly someone from overseas. I did not give them this information, and told them never to call me again. I am sure that I am not the only person who gets these calls.

I got a call from someone calling himself Jay Connor from the IRS Collections Department. He had a middle eastern accent and said there was a mistake in my taxes from the tax years 2008-2012 and that I owe $5124. Apparently they are taking legal action against me and the papers are currently at the court house and unless I paid today I would be arrested, however I was not to tell anyone as it had not been made public yet. The number that called me was 605-550-4956.
