I received a threatening voicemail msg on my cell phone from phone # 1303-647-9604 which came up as a Colorado phone #.

they left me a msg stating that they were from the Internal Revenue Service calling to inform me that this was the last notice I would be receiving before they took legal action against me for unpaid taxes owed.

I called them back very upset to get to the bottom of who was calling me and why they would leave me a such a msg. I am very concerned as these people had my home address and telephone # . I asked to speak with a supervisor and they kept hanging up on me. I called back numerous times and was either hung up on or the call wouldn't go through. these people had foreign accents and to me this is telephone terrorism. I am disgusted and would like for someone to get to the bottom of this. if they called me I am sure they are calling others as well.

509-288-4987 called me this morning and said they were the IRS and that I was going to be prosecuted because I didnt file or pay my taxes.  No amount was mentioned and directed to return the call.  This was not a live person but a recorded message. 509-288-4987

Caller informed me we owed money and they were going to be confiscating our assets.

Call was from NEW YORK 315-623-0765. I refused any information they requested but instead requested information from them in turn they hung up on me.

We pay out taxes and I knew this was not correct. I am so sorry for the people that believe this crap.

We had a voicemail on our landline from a recording stating that the IRS would be filing a suit against me and that I needed to call a number to respond. A day later we received another voicemail from a recording stating the same thing except if listed a different call back number. I was pretty sure it was a scam so i did not contact them. The numbers they used are 202-657-5406 and 509-643-4452.

Rec - received three calls (Dec 5 - Dec 7) from the "IRS" - person could hardly speak English

saying I owed back taxes from 2009-2013 for $6500 and would I send a check. The caller even gave me her name and ID number - Valencia Jones - agent #150115 She called from 509-288-4622. Third call said it was the "final call" before a lawsuit is filed.

Recorded message during incoming telephone call stated that IRS was filing a law suit and to contact the IRS at 202-470-6876.

The message on my answering machine said the IRS was needing to speak with me about "time sensitive information" and to call immediately. I received two such messages in the course of two days. The number they left was 415-446-9681. I called suspecting that I went as far as listening to them say that the sheriff would be coming after me if I did not comply with their request. The voice was of a man from India who identified himself as Michael Johnson. At this point I said I know you're a scam.

We have been getting automated calls telling us that we are being sued by the IRS. I don't have that number with me today. Last night I got a call left on my voice mail from Agent Sam Johnson @ the IRS telling us we have only 48 hrs. this is a time sensitive matter and we need to call their hot line @ 202-821-0065. They called yesterday @ 11:10AM.

for further information. After I wrote the phone # down I hung up.

I have been receiving phone calls with a recording stating that the IRS has filled a lawsuit against me and to call back. I called the number provided and an individual by the name of Shirley Carter - id #1009885 (I'm sure this is a fake) and asked for my phone number which I did not provide to her. I was then asked for my tax id #, again I did not give that information. I was asked again for my phone number, I did not give that information and actually asked why do I need to provide that information and she hung up on me. I called the number again and a male answered the phone and stated "how can I help you sweetie", I stated obviously you are not with the IRS because no IRS rep would make a comment like that and then he proceeded to ask if I wanted to be his wife. I hung up at that point.

I'm getting a robo call from a Washington DC number stating I need to call the IRS immediately as they are taking legal action against me. I don't owe any back taxes and I have my taxes professionally prepared every year so I know this is incorrect and most likely a scam. The number calling me is 360-639-4632. Any way to make this nonsense stop?

Received a phone message on my voice mail saying the call was officially from IRS Internal Revenue Service and that the IRS was Filing a lawsuit and to call on their dept line # 2084161225. The call came in at 10:49 Am Monday, November 30 2015. I saved the message on my voice mail. I did not return the call.

I got a message saying it was urgent that I call. It was the IRS. He didn't give me any particulars other than that I would be served with fraud papers and to call back immediately. The agent in charge was Tom Johnson. The phone number was 352-453-1081. I called that number and then I was having a hard time hearing him, I had him call me back. He told me it was John Parker who handles this. Agent # 531702. He said my case # is UD9308FR. He read a script saying I'm being charged with fraud, lying to the IRS, and several other things. Then he finally said, would you like to respond? I kinda read him the riot act as I haven't filed anything or talked to the IRS and I have no assets to claim. He hung up. I called back to make sure he understood that it was not going to go anywhere with me. Again he told me I would be served with a summons from the sheriff. I told him to serve me, and I'd file a civil suit for harassment.

I received a phone message saying the Internal Revenue had a criminal case against me - Case #CF79591 -and for me or my attorney to return the call immediately. I called back and the man who answered said, US Treasury. He asked if I knew there was a lawsuit pending against me. When I said there was not, and he was full of it he called me a name and hung up on me. I called back and got the same man and told him how ironic it was that out of all the IRS agents I would get him again. Of course he hung up on me again, so I called back and said I would report him so that he didn't try to scam others. When I looked up the phone number on reverse phone lookup, there were 50+ comments about the same scammer. Since he is using the same phone number, I don't understand why no one has shut this scammer down yet. I didn't get as far into the conversation for him to ask me to send money. But others probably did.
