I received a phone call on my home # yesterday and was told the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, I called this # (404) 936-3498 was given case# DC1928- Employee# 2690 caller stated they had done an audit from 2005- 2012 and found that I had under estimated my federal taxes and I now owed $4,500.00 by the end of the day otherwise there is a 'Warrant" out for my arrest. He then transferred me to this # (202) 239-2138 and spoke to Jason Smith, he advised me to get at least $2,000.00 in cash and go to a Wells Fargo or Bank of America and he would give me further instructions. I realized that this was a scam with he told me when I sent the $2,000.00 in cash that the lawsuit would be cancelled and they could work out a payment plan for the remaining balance.

Received automated call claiming they were the IRS and that I was to call: 202-446-2041. They threatened to file a lawsuit if taxes were not paid immediately. They didn't request or state a dollar amount; however, they wanted me to call.

A person left a message stating I was in violation of IRS tax code for fraud or tax evasion and needed to have a criminal lawyer or myself call them back and if I didn't I would be subject to having to deal with the consequences. The number they gave was 321-385-7939 in Titusville, Fl.

I got a call this morning I didn't recognize the number & didn't answer. They left me a voice message saying I had a legal petition notice tax fraud against me & I needed to call them immediately, or the IRS would come after me & I would be arrested. I still have the voice message I did not delete it.

Consumer received a robo-call from Mr. John Black with the IRS. He instructed the consumer to call 509-388-2132 immediately. Consumer did not call since he suspected it was a scam.

8:30 AM Dec 2 2015 incoming call. Recording stating IRS is suing you call 360-2298 return call did not ring through. I called cell number recorded on my phone 404-936-3498 GA. FOREIGN VOICE ANSWERED, NOISE IN BACKGROUND INDICATED CALL CENTER.

He wanted my name. Told him he was a scam, hung up called BBB.

IRS will not contact by phone.

I received a call this morning at 8:30. It was a recording. Recording stated that I am being sued by the IRS. I should call a phone number. I was not able to get the phone number.

They called @ 8:30 this morning and then again @ 1:45.  Each time it was a recorded message.  The message said the IRS is trying to contact me in reference to a case file.  This is my final notice

Someone claiming to be from the IRS and she was very serious saying the IRS is suing you and you need to call 202-446-6041. I did not call that number.

I received a call today from 509-850-3393.  The caller left a voice message identifying herself as being from IRS.  I returned the call.  The lady had an accent as if she was from India.  She asked me to verify my phone number and last name which I did.  She then told me that IRS reviewed my 2009 to 2014 taxes and found it was miscalculated.  She said IRS had filed a lawsuit against me I would be arrested within 48 hours unless I paid the $5986.86 that I owed.  She was very aggressive and said that I needed a criminal lawyer because I had been charged with intentionally defrauding the federal government.  I told her that IRS would mail information to me.  She said they had mailed it and that if I didn't pay today that I would be arrested from my job or home with 48 hours.  I knew it was a scam.

They called me with an automatic recording that the IRS is filing a lawsuit on me.  They called me @ 9:30 this morning.  We just got the message now.

Recieved a phone call from gentleman with a foreign accent saying this was an automated call from IRS and to call

321-234-8266 as a fraudlulent tax claim notice was made using my information.

I am sure the IRS would send a letter and not use an automated call. This is the second phone call I received. I let it go to my voicemail and saved it without answering the call.

They left a message to call them that it's urgent to contact them today that he was an IRS agent that the IRS, issued a warrant of arrest on me , that I'm under federal investigation. He left his name as agent John White , #209-230-9001.
