I saw a Google ad for a career aptitude test, so I clicked on the site (which seemed legit) and took the quiz. At the end of it, it promoted me to pay for an upgraded paid package to see the various results. I did, and expected to immediately get the results, which I didn’t. After 15 minutes, I get an email from the founder, Brian, promoting me to click the link in the email to access my results. It was a little weird, but it still seemed fairly legit. When I go go the page, it asks me to submit my email to get my results. I did, and didn’t receive an email. I reached out to customer service right after. The next morning, I get an email back from customer service which asked for my email and my payment info. I didn’t give them the payment info, but sent my email again. I got another email with a link to get my results (again) which lead to the same prompt to fill in my email to get my results. I did, again, and then I actually get an email. But again, this email prompts me to click the link, and this link sent me to the original page that prompted me to upgrade my package. No results were included.
