Type of a scam Identity Theft

I received a call while I was out from 1-888-662-1235 it said on my caller id med risk spam so I called back to try and catch them. I spoke with someone who said their name was Daniel and calling from Capital one and that I had a delinquent account. I told them I have never had an account with Capital one yet they seemed to know all my info including address , Birthdate, last 4 of social etc. I got off the phone with them called Experian, Eqifax and trans union as well as the police. No record of this debt exists. So I called them back K &A associates and told them if they ever contacted me again I would sue them as I knew they were scammers and they hung up on me. When I called back it said This Number Does Not Exist. I have frozen all credit accounts and contacted our mortgage Company as this Guy knew our address and scammers will try and sell your house out from under you if they have your info.

I just received a call from a local number - -so I answered it - I asked what this was concerning, and they transferred me to the “legal department” he was very rude and called me a liar multiple times when I said I have never had a credit card from “first premier bank” and I can call them to verify -- and he said it would be no use it as the account was closed for non-payment - and then called me a liar again and since I was being Uncooperative they will see me in court -- So I did call first premier bank, and they assured me that they can see if any account was open with my social as far back as they can see -- and low and behold I was correct - NEVER OPENED AN ACCOUNT -- when I called them back to inform them they are going to be reported the new girl said “try it b[censored]” - My only worry is all the personal info they had ---

I received 3 calls from 3 different numbers clai.ing that they were suing me for $2,328.98 from a Mastercard and a company called Continental. Told me that a man named Bill Hudson had already talked to me. I said No, someone just left a voice message for me to call this number. I asked for proof of the charges and the case file number. She refused to give me anything. Said they were going to garnish my wages and put liens. on all my property and put this on my credit report for 10 years. This was supposedly on a Mastercard from 5 years ago. She said l could request the documents after I'd been served. There were 3 different numbers and voice messages from the same group.

Civil complaint

Natalei called from K and A Group said someone had a civil complaint on me for a credit card debt from back in 2006 asked who and she said she was not able to tell me but i owed $2500 and $2500 was being added for legal fees. she stated that noticed were sent to my last 3 addresses and she read them off to me. Advised that I did not receive anything she stated that since it had not been returned it was considered delivered and that there was a garnishment on the social the call came from a local number 435-255-6752 I told her to call me back when she knows whos going to sue me and to send me some documentation and make sure i sign for it then hung up on her before she asked me for money cause i believe this to be a scam!

Scammers phone number 305.317.3734

They claimed to be suing me and that a judgment will be placed against me. When I asked for the case number and jurisdiction they hung up. Also, I called multiple times and then refused to give any further information and they refused to pick up and or it went to voicemail. They said the debt was from Capital One but the fact is that do not owe any monies to Capital One. Finally a reputable debt collector will read you your debt collection Miranda rights and they did not. I even asked for their address and they refused to provide one. TOTAL SCAM!

Said they were going to sue

I received a call from a guy named Bill Hudson from K&A Group debt collector agency, said they were going to sue me and have my wages garnished if I did not pay an old credit card debt.
I could not find a website for K&A collections and checked on credit karma and could not find the credit card they were referring to from many years back.
Tried to call back after the same guy called the next day with the number they left on message and said they were closed and that it was after hours, it was 12:30pm

Stating they were putting a judgment against me

Stated they had legal documents that i had a past debt from a Visa credit card and that i needed to take care of it. Otherwise, they were taking me to court and garnish my wages. Etc...
I asked them where they were out of and they stated 'California '. It was a local number they were calling from on my phone. I kept laughing at them and telling them that this was a joke and a scam. The guy., stated 'I will see you in court'...I responded back ok, i will wait for the documents.

Scammers stating they were filing a judgement against me

They called stating that I had a past Visa that never got paid and that they were taking me to court if it wasn't paid. I told them that this was ridiculous and that this was a scam. The guy stated that this was for real and that they would garnish my wages, put this on my credit report, etc. I told them to go ahead and do that. The guy ended with "see you in court". The number they were calling from is 515-384-0350

Saying they were placing a judgement against me

They called me saying that hsbc bank sent me to them and if I don’t pay 1600 they placing a judgment against me. Called hsbc and they have no record of the account number I was provided

I called the companay that they mentioned and the company said that there is no such thing that is a scam because they have not sent anything. If anyone calls from this law firm K&A its a scam the person I spoke to is Daniel and said they were taking me to court
