Kalbooz.com Reports & Reviews (1)

- Carbondale, PA, USA

I ordered (2) Kalbooz puppies from a Facebook online advertisement. They were being sold for $24.99 each. They are advertised as an "AI Realistic Robot Puppy". They advertised the animals as follows: "It will behave like a real dog", "The nose, paw pads, nails and eyes are made using Hand-sculpted natural leather polymer", They also state "Functions such as: how the puppy walks, sits, barks, and runs, is as realistic as it is responsive". They told me the puppy runs on a built-in rechargeable battery and the USB-A charging cable will be included on shipping. It has no built-in rechargeable battery but rather a compartment on the belly that you have to place in 2 AA batteries. They said the puppy has a light on the side, or under the belly to indicate when it needs to be recharged. The nose is made of a hard plastic, The eyes are a hard glass type material, and the paws have no pads, nor are there any nails it mentions. The fur is rough and not at all the plush type of fur they state is on this animal. Their site offers a video wherein they show you an entirely different AI robotic animal, but what you receive is not what is shown.
You are not able to reach the company at the number on the packaging slip, as it will ring once then disconnect the call. Your only means to reach them is via email at [email protected]. However, you will not receive a response.
Also, the puppies were delivered in a thin black envelope, not wrapped, or secured in the package, so the brown puppy's front leg was crooked and non-functioning.
When you turn it on the puppy barks continually without stopping, walks about 3 steps forward then 3 steps backward. Whereas the video on the website shows the eyes moving while being held in someone's hands. It shows someone combing the belly and the robot animal actually moves. This cannot occur with these hard, non-pliable toys since their legs do not bend. And they cannot walk without the leather paw pads because they slide too much on any wood or tile surface.
This is a scam and a rip off, So, if you are seeing this message, please do not purchase this AI puppy as there is NOTHING AI about this dog! Plus, you will never see a refund!
