Hi, is this ----? Yes it is, who is calling? This is Hanna from HR, of Key Shipping. And I wanted to know if you are, still interested in employment, we have you application, and we believe you would be a good fit for our operation. Are you still interested? If so, do you have time for a brief interview? She began to tell me about the company and began asking questions, do you have a printer, do you live near USPS, FEDEX, UPS locations? Are you able to receive packages safely etc. Well it appears that you meet our criteria and I am going to forward to your email some documents, that you will need to complete. Once you complete the documents we can move forward with setting you up. Then she explained to me the salary, which is pretty much a straight salary of about $4500 before taxes, coming to about $3500 after taxes. I would be responsible for packaging, inspecting, and assuring that the packages are properly inspected, and shipped in a timely way. She sent me a link in an email, with an attachment, it was supposed to be the policy, and procedures preliminary in nature. I received the email completed the paper work, but my senses told me to, before I send any information, to do a Google search for scams about this business. I did and I found this website with the information of a scam!

- Sacramento, CA, USA

I received an email from a "company" labeled Key Shipping US. The website looked legit, and did have a phone number and email listed on their site. The emails I received however, were two different email addresses. (Key Shipping [email protected] and [email protected]). Both emails did not list a number but they did put that email was available 24/7 and phone was Mon.-Fri 10am-6pm EST, yet there was never a phone number or email provided other than the 2 emails I replied to. The last email I got was informing me that their "HR" would be calling me with further details and to sign me up on their site, where I am then supposed to upload personal information to begin this new "reshipping job." Seems like a legit scam that is using a real company in Indiana to pose as. Even Key Shipping's website does not advertise or speak about a reshipping position, nor do they conduct business in the way that the email explained would be my job duty.

- Callahan, FL, USA

I was contacted via email (unsolicited) about a job offer. I happened to be looking for a job so the timing to me made it seem like they had legitimately found my resume on a job searching site like indeed that I do use. It seemed professional enough. Scheduled an interview, had the interview. Was told I had gotten the job. Then was asked to set up an account on their dashboard. I’ve talked to 3 separate people to date. Then I found a ScamPulse.com article about this exact thing. State and all. Package reshiping. Work from home. Base salary of $3,200 with a bonus structure of $40 per package shipped on time. They claim to be a pretty big player in international shipping of products not available outside of the US. I have all of the emails sent to me from them including contact information if needed.

I've been applying to jobs lately so I never really thought it was a scam because I spoke with so many people from so many jobs, so it was hard for me to keep up. But this particular job is $3,200 base pay for the month and $40 per package you ship. If you pick up the package from an actual shipping store near you it's $100 per package. The first pay is a month out. After a month you will be receiving weekly or biweekly pay. You can receive up to 20 packages per week. At first I thought this was a great job. But I don't remember them asking me any specific details about myself. They said that I was inquiring about a job. Once I received their email it was a few attachments below that had their LLC Documents on it. Their EIN, LLC Filing Number, Name, Address, Etc. I have my own business so I know exactly what those documents look like and what they are supposed to look like. An EIN Number is Your Social Security For Your Business. Which you shouldn't be giving out. That was the second red flag. The first was giving me access to those documents when I didn't think you were a scam to begin with. The name of the company is Key Shipping US LLC. I couldn't look up the LLC Name. I tried to look up the EIN Number which is 99-3948781 & all I seen that popped up was this company is a scam. I created an account with their job portal. They wanted me to take a picture of the front and back of my ID. Luckily they did not ask for my social. I was sketchy about this job prior to them sending me a new email a few days later to create an account. They wanted my to log in everyday @9. & On the Weekends I would be off. But I would still have to log in, but it didn't matter what time. I didn't understand why would they send me a package to the house to check and send back when they could've sent it directly to the address they wanted me to. But they told me they wanted to make sure that nothing was broken & everything was still there. But non the less I didn't have that much time to think about it until they told me I would have to log in tomorrow on the portal. I just pray no one else gets scammed by this company. Especially when you have a lot going on like myself and you are in need of real work. I'm used to making $1,500+ A week & I have a lot of going on in my life, I've also been talking to multiple jobs, So I didn't see anything sketchy at first. But please be aware of this company!
