The scammer stole a friend Facebook identity and created posts about making large amounts of interest money off of investments. Once I contacted the scammer, they walked me through the process of wiring money to account set up in Bitcoin and Crypto.com. The money was used to buy bitcoin and Ethereum, which was immediately sold then transferred to an account set up in the Kryptbased-assets account. The money invested was "put into a 720-hour interest earning cycle" You could see how the interest went up by the hour, as high as 1% per hour. When the interest account reached $50,000 the scammer required an additional $8500 for insurance to cover the interest made. When the interest cycle ended, the scammers said I had to wire a 20% commission fee in order to retrieve my interest earnings.

When I questioned this, and asked for my total investments be returned, they locked me out of the account, which I can't access either via my cell phone or via home internet.

The scammer is still sending me IMs wanting me to send in the commission fee. I reached out to the person who had their Facebook account hacked, and they confirmed that they were hacked by in Apr23, and they had asked Facebook to resolve the issue, but to date, they have not, as the scammer is still using the hacked Facebook account to post "massive earnings" to bring in new clients.

I have saved IMs from this scammer and of the investment process that they had me follow.

The CRD # they listed on their website page was fraudulent. I researched the CRD # and it belongs to Wave Digital Assets. I contacted the CEO, Jennifer Anderson, and she said that she never heard of krptbased-assets, and when she looked at their site, said that they had copied the disclaimer statement (which listed the CRD #) verbatim from the Wave Digital Assets website. She said she was going to contact legal services for her company to report this fraud.
