I came across a site claiming to be a Joann closeout site through social media. I went to the site (both in the social media app and through url in a regular browser) and it looked like a genuine Joann site with deals up to 80 percent off. I placed an order for yarn amounting to 32.90 (I paid with Paypal). The odd thing about the purchasing experience were the continous popups along the line of “Ms. M from TX, USA just purchased…”. I ignored it although I know you see this often with overseas websites (the deals were SO GOOD!). After I made the purchase, I immediately regretted it and alarm bells went off in my brain. I went to Paypal immediately to review the order. The order itself said I had ordered a “casualshirt short jacket.” Nope. I the sent an email to the contact info associated with the order, address [email protected] (definitely NOT Joanns) and requested an immediate cancellation (March 1). On March 2, I received an email back from [email protected] (Eliza at customer service) indicating they cancelled the order and would issue a refund within 7 business days. I checked my cc statement later and notice the charge of 32.90 was put ON the card on March 3 with the description” PAYPAL *LIJIAH4VLQ 4********* HK $32.90”. I noted no refund. On March 18, I contacted “Eliza” and told her I had not received my refund and for her to do so immediately or I would file a claim through paypal. I am awaiting a reponse.

Curious, I did further research and noted that a search on “silverhairclip.shop” took me to a very basic webpage for Vexora which then lead off to places I didn’t go to for blogs, shopping, about us, etc. xlantshop.com does not exist as a url but did bring up xlntshop.com in China with contact email [email protected] (how associated, I don’t know).
