I recieved a claims statement from Medicare showing bills for March, April, May and June 2024 for ostomy devices that I have no need for- no ostomy- and never recieved, ordered by a local physician I have never seen. I called the Medicare Fraud line and reported this information to them. This is identical to what happened to the person you have listed on your site.

- West Chester, PA, USA • Jan 08, 2025

In July 2024, I received an EOB from my supplemental medical insurance for ostomy supplies, for January thru June. Medicare paid then my supplemental insurance. I reported this as fraud to Medicare immediately. Went to the company’s website and saw about 4 other people with the same complaint. One person mentioned that when they contacted Medicare to report the fraud, they were advised to ask for a new alpha/numeric Medicare card. I immediately called and requested one. Kept periodically checking the company’s website and noticed more and more complaints. Website has now been taken down. Anyone who has experienced this same fraud should immediately contact Medicare and ask for new ID numbers. Evidently our info must be on the dark web.

Recieved my Medicare summary and it indicated glucose monitoring equipment was delivered for February MArch April May June and July for a total of $7,195, Medicare paid them $2,755.64. My secondary flagged them as fraud and did not process the claims

- Brooklyn, NY, USA • Dec 11, 2024

Today while looking at my Medicare summary, I noticed a charge from Absolute medical supplies for an Ostomy pouch, which I neither ordered nor needed. This fraudulent business billed Medicare 4,200 and received $2620 from Medicare. I have no need for an ostomy pouch.

I’m concerned that this is not the first time that this business has billed Medicare recipients for services and items that were never received nor requested by either the health care providers or the people who were scammed by this business .

- Meridian, ID, USA • Dec 04, 2024

40 Ostomy pouch, drainable, with extended wear barrier attached, with built in convexity, with filter (A5057)

5 claims: 2/13/2024, 3/14/24, 4/15/24, 5/15/24, 6/14/24

Reviewing my husband's Medicare EOB I found Absolute Medical Supplies billed Medicare for durable medical equipment (ostomy supplies) that he does not need or use and did not authorize. The charges were over $4000 and Medicare paid $2054. I am just waiting to see if they have billed his secondary insurance for the rest.

I read reviews on this company and we are not alone. Time for the authorities to take action...get busy

- Frederick, MD, USA • Nov 19, 2024

I received a Medicare Summary Notice which included $4200.00 fraudulent charges for ostomy supplies. I notified Medicare immediately. I researched the company and it does not exist, nor does the phone number.

- Derby, KS, USA • Nov 15, 2024

While reviewing Medicare Benefits Summary, noticed Absolute Medical Supplies showed 40 Ostomy pouches provided each month to me during month of March, April, May and June 2024. plus, another 40 Ostomy pouches but Medicare document did list date. Medicare document had following 5 separate entries of: Item/Service Approved? "Yes"; Amount Supplier Charged "$600.00"; Medicare Approved Amount "$524.00; Amount Medicare Paid "$410.82"; and Maximum You May Be Billed "$104.80". Additionally, Medicare listed 80 Ostomy pouches for $1200.00 but was not approved.so no payment made. Items not requested nor authorized by me. No Ostomy pouches received by me. My medical condition does not require these pouches. Medicare paid $2,054.10 which is fraud against Medicare.

I saw another Medicare scam similar to my scam report listed on ScamPulse.com site - that scam number is "Scam ID ******", with report date of 13 Sep 2024.

- Olney, MD, USA • Nov 14, 2024

Medicare paid on medical claims for me that were fraudulent. Then an attempt was made to charge my secondary insurance for same charges.

- Mount Airy, MD, USA • Nov 14, 2024

Absolute Medical Supplies submitted a claim to Medicare using my name and Medicare number for 6 months of Ostomy Pouches. This is the second time this has happened. I have never had a procedure requiring these supplies nor have I ever bought amything from this vompany. Medicare paid $2,620.00 out of the $4,200.00 on this claim. This is Medicare fraud.

- Severna Park, MD, USA • Nov 12, 2024

Medicare billing for Ostomy Pouch which I do not use

- Youngsville, NC, USA • Nov 12, 2024

Upon reviewing my Medicre Summary dated Oct 4, 2024...my insurance was billed Feb, March, April, May, June for Ostomy pouch, drainable, with extended wear barrier attached with built in convexity, with filter A5057. This is not me! I have no such services. I do not even live in Pa. Medicare paid them $2,875.73 and says I am responsible for the balance of 733.60. This is an error, mistake or possible scam. Seeing that others have the same issue, Id assume scam.
