855-544–1796. The date was 8-9-23. So, I called the number and a person by the name of
Mike Flakes identified himself as a reservations person and said he would schedule the flight.
I then gave him my credit card information and he proceeded to give me a reference number.
The six digit SW confirmation # did not come onto my SW account until approximately 3 hours after.
In addition to the initial $299 charge for the flight, an additional fee was charged to my account for $76 identified as "love points." When I didn’t receive my confirmation SW email, I called SW and talked to a SW employee in rapid rewards. She verified that who I had previously spoken with was not a SW employee at all and and that the number I had called was not a SW number.
I then texted Mike Flakes at the number he had given me: 907-931-4956
He reassured me that it was legitimate and I would receive my SW confirmation within the hour.
I did receive it in the next hour; The code was 4TRH85. The next day, 8-10-23, when I had an additional charge to my credit card for the $76 I cancelled this flight through SW and rescheduled. Please be aware.
