This time I called the phone number on the real Norton website and they let me know that this was a phishing attempt and to just delete the email.

I was charged $349.49 for Norton renewal. I don't have Norton. Called contact number on e mail, 18452856705. Was placed with rep. Robert. Said to get refunded he need to download for onto my PC. ALLOWED ACCESD THRO Koho app and the form looked like it was in word format. He had me type in my refund amount. I typed in 349.49. It showed 33349.40. To get it corrected he wanted me to send gift cards from Apple Store at 6 each for $1000, and 8 each for $500 from target stores. I wanted bank to do it bit he said they would suspect fraud on action and wanted gift cards. He had me sign into my bank and pull up my account. It showed the 33349.49 added. I was to leave everything as is and get the gift cards. I went to apple store and started buying cards. Store supervisor came over and spoke withe, I said they were for x-mas gifts. Layer my phone down and walked away and informed supervisor what was going on. They informed me it was a scam. I used an apple store phone to call my bank and placed a freeze on my accounts. Refuned the 3 cards I had purchased and started driving. Robert wanted to know if I had the cards and I said yes. He wanted to pull over and give him the card data numbers now. I said I was driving and asked him to wait, he was very angry and wanted the data now. I hung up. By the time I got home my computer desktop ICONS were erased. Couldn't recover any of them. Went to bank and confirmed account monitored has been activated. Call and got LifeLock. Set uncredited monitoring thru Transunion, equirian, and Equifax. All credit reports have a freeze on them. Worked thru all on line sign in accounts to change user names where I could and was able to change aa passwords. Bought new desktop PC for home. Cleaned all Gmail from Android phone and cleaned phone best I know how and denied all 3rd parties. Phone now set for auto cleaning. Froze any and all credit cards, debit cards I have. Closed bank account and pulled funds on account that they had seen on line on my old PC. AARP FRAUD alert set up. Tried to contact attorney General but so far no luck. Contacted anyone I use currently and informed of concern of ID Theft. Left this file with you. So far Experian has sent alert for address change, contacted my post master and no address change found, experian alert for phone number old and current on dark web.
