I received this email and when I called the number they wanted me to log on my computer and when I questioned why? They said it was secured to get my payment refunded. Then the phone hung up. I waited 15 minutes called back and they hung up again. I immediately called right back and a recording came on saying that they were busy leave a number for them to call you back. I didn't but started to search the internet with that 866 number. The Norton website doesn't have that number listed.

Email said my Norton account will be charged $245 for a five year subscription renewal which will show on next billing cycle. I am to call 754-666-7742 within 24 hours to cancel. Message on Google account stating my lite security had run out and they were taking 394.99 out of my account. This is something I didn't apply for. I was told to call 2108661219 to take care of it. Norton was at the end of this email.

I received a email from a person claiming to be Norton Life Lock, They claimed I had a past due bill for $679.00 and if I did not take care of this, they would automatically debit my account. I have never did any business with Norton.

I received an email from what looked like Norton antivirus help thanking me for my norton life lock business. I called the number on the email and they gained access to my computer. They claimed they were processing my refund. To get my refund they deposited what looks like $2500 into my checking account. They acted like I screwed up and stole money from the bbb and that all kinds of bad things were going to happen to me unless I went to target and bought $2500 worth of gift cards. I actually went to target because this guy was on the phone with me until I took care of the transaction. Good thing I got hold of the management team who called the police who assured me if the scam.

Im getting voice mail a person name Alex Wilson claiming he from Norton. He states tha if I dont renew my anti virus protection plan that I will automactically be charge $299.00 form my account. He wanted me to give him access to my computer to assit me with the plan. I did not give access. I told him that my computer tech will call him about this matter. The phone # he called from is 5732707484. I immediately call Norton antivirus and explain the suspicious caller. They said it was a scam and not to give any personal information and to report it to the BBB.

I was about to put Norton security on my computer that I bought from staples and someone came on from Norton telling me my computer was hacked and I need a advanced subscription of security I said I have security they said it won't work on my system they scared me there so I agreed they got into my computer said they were cleaning it and it would take a while I gave them my credit card info the first card blocked them so I gave them another and that went through and they put two different security on it but after it was done it didn't seem right so I got in touch with Norton to ask about my back up that wasn't there they checked it out and I gave them the order number they looked couldn't find it and they said call my bank and stop payment it's a scam so I did call and attempt to stop it. I called the fake Norton to stop the purchase but there's no answer at that number for payment and billing so I called the support number and told them I'm not happy with it and they said it will take 2 or 3 days to appear on the credit card. I got in touch with Norton again and they checked my computer and said the two programs that were put on aren't Norton products. The security that was put on seemed like a trial because I jade to add the premium security after 30 days. So I put on the security I bought from staples.

Received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Norton. Claiming that the anti-virus software is out of date and would like to offer me a refund back. In order to do so they need access to my computer. I knew it was a scam so I immediately hung up.
