I received an invoice supposedly from Paypal, you sent $267.14 to coinbase 110783 from paypal . Contact support 888-544-9365.

I called to verify that I did not purchase this product. Then the person at the phone said for fraud department for paypal, they must update my account, asked for access to my computer and then suggested I close 2 windows. They wanted the found the process long, yet supposedly as the person kept explaining what he was supposedly doing and was very polite. Since I had somewhere to go, I was saved by my time crunch. I shut the computer down and then had a fleeting thought that I may have just gotten scammed. I immediately called my bank.

My father received an email from an unknown email address stating it was from Paypal. The email address was not familiar but they used my mother's name as their own. The Paypal statement showed there was charge for an item priced around $752.71 for some sort of finance company. My mother and father do not own a Paypal account. I checked Paypal to see if accounts were created using their email addresses; thankfully, there were no accounts created. I then called the number that was listed in the email to get more information about the charge. The phone number listed is a Texas number; however the company states it resides in Florida..The person on the phone sounded very suspicious. In addition to his suspicious tone, there was noise in the background (other people talking in the background). As soon as I heard this, I knew immediately it was a scam. I hung up and immediately contacted my parents' bank to make sure there was not a charge on their bank account. Thankfully, there was not.

I no longer have the email because I had blocked the recipient and deleted the message. Please be careful online! People can be so shady with scams nowadays.

I got an emailed invoice from PayPal stating that I purchased an iPhone and my Mastercard would be charged $799.99. I didn't purchase an iPhone and I don't have a PayPal account. I called the number in the email and I could hear a lot of voices in the background, I told them I think this is a scam and I hung up.

email received says paypal but the return address was for which has nothing to do with paypal.

I got this email which looks suspicious. I have never bought this item. And all links were fake. the telephone number in the email was unauthorized one. Fortunately, so far I have not seen any real transactions.

I received an email on 02/16/22 from a "Tracy" (no email address) and again on 02/24/22 from someone claiming to be PayPal, stating my order in the amount of $845.69 was on it's way. The address given for PayPal was 1522 Cohoe Ct., Kenai, Alaska 99611. I checked my PayPal account and did not see a charge so I chalked it up to a scam.

On 03/14/22 I received another email from an email address of "martha" again claiming to be PayPal, stating my order had shipped. It was for the same amount of $845.69 and had the same order number. The difference was it came from a different email with a different mailing address of 2211 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131, and had a different phone number to call of 800-401-3024. However, the address shown for PayPal was the same.

Again, I checked my PayPal account and did not show any activity that matched this.

To go even further, on 02/25/22 I received an email from Marlita Rexa Lestari at [email protected] saying my PayPal account had been charged $749.99 and I was asked to call 800-397-6361 "to report and block this transaction". It was supposedly for the purchase of TCL 50" television.

On 01/27/22 I received two separate emails from different names (MOUSTAFA 420 and HAIDY 443) claiming to be PayPal and that I had authorized a payment of $649.99 for the purchase of a 43" television. I was asked to call 800-449-5908 "to report and block this transaction". They stated I paid the amount to [email protected].

I have checked my PayPal account each time and found no charges.
