Purchased a Yorkie puppy from yorkiepuppiesforadoption.com; paid $550.00. Puppy was to be shipped via Pet Travel Solutions; PTS keep coming up with reasons to ask for more money. Latest reason was because the puppy needed an additional shot prior to being allowed to cross the MN border. The PTS email: ***************************. They required payment through paypal

I attempted to purchase a chihuahua. We set up a Cash App; tried multiple times; then set up

Pay Pal. He kept saying it didn’t go through, In checking with my bank & credit card, all transaction did go through

A couple showed up at my doorstep after driving 12 hours from Chicago to pick up a beagle puppy that they had made a deposit on. This is the fourth couple I have had show up at my doorstep looking to pick up a puppy. In the past, the puppies were Boston Terriers and a different website. Also, in the past they would only accept cash app. This time they allowed them to use PayPal to make the deposit, so hopefully they will be able to recover their money.

I purchased a female Welsh Corgi names Jesie and never received her.

Showed pictures of a dog, identified papers for the dog and agreed to ship the dog. No dog was received. I have emails of the very descriptive process and agreement.

Pet scammers! Once I informed seller that my bank ID them as fraudulent and that I could not find them on the ScamPulse.com or TICA websites, they sent several mean and aggressive text messages. Once I blocked the number they sent more text via a different number.

They are running a puppy for sale scam. They had my friend pay the account on venmo ‘makeuptiff’ for a dog then asked for more payments for secure shipping.

I inquired about a puppy through the website. I received an email with more information about the puppy I desired along with contact information. I texted the person and told him I was interested in the puppy and wanted to know what the next steps were. He needed my name, address, phone number, email and nearest airport. He only shipped the puppies on certain days of the week and the next day was considered one of those days. We went along with the payment that he requested of $500 through Zelle. He needed an additional $100 for shipping but Zelle would not let me send any more money that day. He said that was fine and he would get it the next day. He kept me updated on everything he was doing throughout the day. This included sending me paperwork for transfer of ownership. He told me he would get things finalized and update me in the morning. He texted me the next morning and said he was on his way to the pet delivery service. He sent me all of the tracking information, along with a picture of the flight ticket. He requested the $100 dollars that was still needed but wanted me to send to a different email and person. $100 did not go through again. He then said he was at the pet delivery service and needed me to pay for a refundable pet insurance policy. He sent me the email through Skyway Express Delivery. It stated that $995 would have to be sent for insurance or they couldn't ship the puppy. I texted him and told him I was not paying that and that was something that should have been discussed up front. I never got another text after that. I received a call from a different number I had been texting. The person on the other end said they were from the delivery service and needed the money. I told him this is a scam and we were done.

Puppy Scam Detail

"Catherine Laina Maltese" at [email protected] offered to sell us Winnie, a maltese puppy for $850. She said that shipping was included because she had a coupon to cover travel. However, she never disclosed extra charges to include buying a kennel. She refused to talk by phone, but after asking for payment agreed to contract signing first.

After signing a contract and receiving a signed copy back, we paid 850.00 by Zelle to her account ("Fatima Kanu", registered as 'fatmata'), she said that we would soon hear from the shipper.

Shortly thereafter, 'American Pet Lines' sent us an email saying that in order to ship the puppy, they we would have to buy a special temperature-controlled kennel for $1950 (or rent it for $1495 and receive 98% of it back later.) [We noted that a previous purchase of a puppy, we did not have to make such a large purchase for a kennel in order to ship a puppy - so we called American Airlines Cargo and confirmed that this would not be necessary. Rather a simple $300-400 kennel purchase would be expected to be necessary.

We called American Pet Lines at the number they specified and talked to Shawn (whose name was listed on the email). He refused to change the conditions for shipment.

We asked Catherine to change the shipping to another method/company, which she refused. In fact, she tried to loan us $500 if that would make the $1950 expense / $1495 rental possible.

She continued to refuse to speak on the phone.

We decided that we could not trust this transaction. So we asked for a refund and requested the same through Zelle. She has not complied.

Fee for the dog was 1.245 includes shipping upon shipment they requested 4k to a AC crate and the airline woukd not accept as is. We declined as knew it was a scam at this point.

My grandmother believed she was purchasing a kitten from a North Carolina breeder online. She received "confirmation" yesterday that the kitten was hers and was set to be delivered today (7/11/23). She was told that the kitten was set to depart at 10:15 and received word from the supposed shipping company at 9:20 that the breeder had sent him in a crate that wasn't approved by the airline, so she was told she had to rent a crate. They told her she was to go buy AmEx gift cards in the amount of $1,000 and send photos of them front and back, as well as the receipt showing that she had purchased them. After she had sent this, they informed her that they needed $1,500 more for insurance and promised a refund once the kitten was delivered to her home. It was at this point that she asked for proof that the kitten was on its way and that the company was legitimate, which they were unable to provide. Upon failure to provide proof of legitimacy, she cut off contact with the scammer.

We've been looking for a Frenchie for 5 years now seen a group on Facebook Frenchies to re-home or adoption seemed legit it said they had a list of reputable breeders if they weren't on the list it was a scam and this woman Casey Savin's was on the list as reputable so got in contact with her via messenger spoke for 3 days she said she had a male 10 week old we can pick up on the 4 of July the 3rd of July they asked for a 500 holding fee through cash app we tried but our bank denied it then she said try apple pay through her husband's phone Autumn Holmes well again denied so she said just bring the cash upon pick up she even sent us a food list and a menu for the puppy along with a 4 page contract that stated the puppy would be 4000 for breeding or 2000 if he was a pet only it also stated that we needed to get pet insurance by a certain date the end of contract it said it was court binding so we thought ok this is legit she sent us the address we left our home at 450 am we live in Arkansas they were in Oklahoma I contacted her half way there to let her know where we were she stated she was waiting for us when we arrived to the address she gave us 504 Banner ave. I let her know we have arrived she stated my husband is home and I said well I'm with the owners of the house she blocked me and deleted everything on Facebook book well the address was legit but the poor home owners had no idea there address was used in the scam as well so 11 1/2 hour drive I was heart broke and I do believe she's back at it with a new page and going under a new name Frenchies to re-home or adoption. I'm glad my bank denied the down payment but the long drive and emotional part was terrible she strung us all the way 299 miles unbelievable people get how people can get away with this beware of some of these groups cause we did a lot of research and those scammers were good.

I thought I was getting a Maine C o o n kitten delivered to me today, July 1, 2023, by the seller. Instead, said seller supposedly handed over the kitten to a pet courier, Smooth Moving Logistics, who managed to get $1500 out of me before I finally said enough was enough. I am on disability and had advised the seller and supposed pet courier of the matter. I have saved all the emails that transpired between me and the supposed pet courier. I have also got most of the conversation with the supposed seller via Facebook Messenger saved as well.

My daughter reached out to Keilani Boston Terriers thru their website. Once she found a dog the person tried everything they could to get her to buy the dog. We agreed on the dog and started the process. Everything on their website looked legit. We signed a contract for the dog and they said they were using Pacific Pet Carriers to transport the dog. The day the dog was supposed to be on the flight we get an email saying that we had to pay 600.00 for a temperature controlled dog kennel to fly with. We read online these were a real thing and were fine with paying the 600.00 as the person showed us that it was 98% refundable. Once we paid them they kept saying they didn't get the money. The next day we were told they did receive the money and gave us a new itinerary for the dog to be shipped. Later that morning we emailed them with no response right away. So with bad thoughts in mind I got worried and we realized after a few more hours that we were scammed by this company. We lost a total of $1400.00. This company needs to be stopped. Shut down the website and go after the names involved.

Hello, I need your help. Here's the thing. I was online to adopt a puppy and found the seller. Then I paid the seller 600 plus 200 for shipping. The total is 800. When I paid, the seller gave I asked me to contact the carrier with a shipping number. When I was waiting for my puppy to arrive home, the carrier contacted me and said that the dog's box did not meet the air freight regulations and asked me to pay 1350 yuan for the rental box. They said that when the dog arrived, it would be fully charged. The money was returned, and then I paid the money, and when I waited again, they contacted me and asked me to pay the dog's insurance fee of 1550. Then I paid the seller for this fee, but when I transferred I didn't receive any dogs. I found out that I was scammed. This is a scam. Fake seller, fake carrier, I used zelle to transfer, I desperately need your help right now. I will put all the evidence to you to help me.

I saw and purchase a kitten trough a website with good reviews. The day they were going to send the pet, they told me i had to rent a cage for the $1,500, the transportation company did not accept credit cards just Zelle.

I requested money back from the breeder but said it takes 21 days for refund.

Red flags everywhere. I did not continue with the purchase but lost money already.

I was speaking to the breeder via text message (they are using the names Cody Finch and Shirley Fish) that I got from a private facebook group claiming they do corgi adoptions. I was told they needed a $100 deposit to secure the dog which I did. They then claimed they did not receive the venmo and asked to resend. I explained how i didn't feel comfortable with that and I received the notice on my end that it was sent and I sent the screenshot of the transaction. So they asked to send it again and they would take off $100 from the final payment. The following day they then ask for $275 for vet fees for vaccinations which was not told to me in the initial conversation. I explained that I would pay that fee upon arrival in cash, that i already paid the deposit, and they said they cannot move forward without it. I then agree and send the last venmo for the vaccinations and explain I will no longer send money via a cash app and will pay final payment upon arrival in cash. They agreed. I leave my home to travel 2 1/2hours to receive the dog and half way there i receive a message from them stating they won't give me the dog unless i send the rest of the cash via venmo BEFORE i arrive which is not what they agreed to. I refused and returned home. They have not and will not refund the money I have already spent. I tried to reach out to them by phone and they would not pick up. I am reporting not to get my money back, I was foolish for following through, I would just like to report it so another person will not be scammed. I lost a total of $475 ( almost $1,075) and have no dog to show for it. They are able to be found on Facebook and when googled I also found their Facebook group for corgi adoptions.

I became a part of some groups on Facebook in order to find a reliable Maine C o o n breeder. After much research, I found one that I thought was legitimate. Alicia Katherine was the administrator of the page and others had given her rave reviews. She sent pictures and talked with me throughout the process. I should have known that the price she was giving me was too good to be true. I told her that I only lived a few hours away and would be willing to drive to meet her. She asked for a deposit and I gladly sent it. The next thing I know, she stated that she wasn't able top comment on the FB messenger anymore, and she sent me a "phony" phone number to text back and forth. She had then stated she had taken my kitten to the courier, even though I told her I wanted to pick the kitten up, and they would be in touch. Two days later I was contacted by Top Quality Logistic, and told that I would need to pay the remainder of the fee to Alicia, before the kitten could be shipped. I have screen shots of all of the conversations. I told her that I wouldn't pay until I had the kitten in my procession. She said that she was unable to get the kitten back from the courier. She sent me her Venmo and the Cash app information from her son, or SO, who had a Latino name. I sent the money and then later was contacted by the courier company to pay an additional $1500 for insurance, stamps and all sorts of other nonsense. I physically spoke with the driver, who was also a Latino gentleman, which seemed sketchy to me, especially when I received an update saying that the kitten would be delivered to my home at 0800 on March 29. The driver asked for gift cards in the amount of $1500 and sent me a picture of the type of gift card that he wanted with a clearly visible bedspread or towel in the background. I refused to send anymore money to either of these people. After I told her that I would not be sending anymore money, she stopped messaging me. I lost money, and I am angry about this, but if I can prevent this from happening to anyone else, it will be worth it. I also asked Alicia for a full refund and never heard from her again. It has taken me this long to get over it and write a calm complaint. I was never given an email address for this person, and when I went back to find her on Facebook, her account and the FB group was gone.

Offering Maltipoo for sale out of Ohio. I searched the pictures of the puppies and they show the same picture but out of China or Korea.

I asked for the website to review and they couldn't provide it to me.
