Scammer is acting as a US trademark attorney by the name of Raul Gonzalez in an attempt to obtain money from individuals via 'Letters of Confirmation'. He is requesting $199 after asking for identifying information that provides proof of residence (i.e. ID, Driver's License, etc.) and social media accounts in association with the trademark. Phone number is a Florida area code despite using a government office building address for his business' physical address listed in Alexandria, VA.

I received a phone call from this company stating they were affiliated with the USPTO. They had all of my personal information in regard to my company filing for a Trademark. The reprsentative told me I had to pay either the $600 or the $999 to finalize the process with the USPTO. Once I knew this was incorrect information and I googled the phone # while on the phone it tells you on the website it's s a scam if someone is trying to collect money over the phone.
