Shipping container on Facebook ad. Contacted and received a quote price via Email. Messenger conversation directed payments to invoice delivered to email. Scammers then requested additional insurance payment refundable on delivery. Scammer used the name John Mashebala for cover. There are over 20 John Mashebela on Fbook all are his and all the friends listed are fakes. Privex claims 17 yrs in business with refunds available. Both are lies. Multiple contacts have been made since using a different name. Each one is the same response yet they never acknowledge the the container I purchased when ask about it. SCAM!!!!

Hi , I was looking to buy sea container for my work, i did my research on the internet and i found that company that sells it , it looks perfectly organize and legal , they have phone number and good review on their website and i sent emaisl and they send back

When I purchased a container, none of these complaints showed up. Appeared to be legit. Money was wired, delivery date set and no container. Got the insurance money to release as did others. No container and a bunch of excuses got upset when we called him a scammer. Requested a quote for another container using different email, name and address. Got an invoice using a different name and different bank. Requested to use credit card and was told I had to fillout a form, which I am guessing would be enough to steal my identity

Privex container scam

Ordered a container from John Mashabela who I now find has over 20 Facebook profiles under that name all from Nigeria. I followed instructions as requested. They then ask for insurance money and that is gone also. I have no money and no container. No answers from the web site phone or email. If you contact Privex asking for a quote they will respond quickly like they are legit but are vague on answers and won't respond to most questions. They hang up if anyone answers. John has blocked my messenger. Its a scam!

The scammer pretends to sell shipping containers and deliver them. After they get your wire transfer, they make you wait weeks, then tell you that you need insurance on your container and this never has happened before. Asking for another 1500 dollars. Saying it's refundable. I asked for money back and that's when the scam heightened. They sent me a check for $20,750 vs $2,750 dollars. They call me and say it was an error and to cash it and pay them the difference. When I went to my bank i was worried that check was bad so i had them check. I called and text the gut saying my bank would not cash check and thought it was fraud. He then got mad and started saying stupid things like why couldn't you just cash the check and not say anything. On and on..... So now I have no container, a bad check and I am making a police report. I have a string of numbers, names and emails from this fictitious company.

I contacted them through email. we have all proof of contact via email. as soon as the money was wired to them the communications became very limited. I would be glad to provide with any additional information that is needed.

They sent me an invoice through email with wire transfer information. I wired them the money. they sent me a paid invoice and a tracking site. the tracking site showed the container through each stop then it was put on hold and was invoiced for $1261.90 to pay for insurance to deliver locally I did not pay. and did not receive container.
