I received a call from a call center person named Violet at 814-679-8852. She said that there was a legal matter that was going to move forward and because I refused service of important papers. Gave me the number 866-418-6269 and a reference number. I called the number and was placed on hold. A gentleman came on the line and said that I had defaulted on a loan from Advanced America on 2/12/15. I told him I never had a loan. He had my birthday, social security number and access to other items on my credit report. He stated that he would make this case to move in front of a judge and my wages would be garnished. This "loan" does not show on my credit report. I am concerned that he had my personal information. They have also routinely been calling my husband's phone and leaving messages for me.

Kevin Harris from BioGX in Altoona called me from 814-201-7617 and said they he would be visiting my house sometime today beween 2-5 pm. I asked for details and told him Indidnt recollect receiving papers and thsy I was uncomfortable having him visit me without my permission since I am disabled. He gave me Adler & Associates as the litigators at 844-393-0435 and a Case #496103. They already knew my address and last 4 digits of my social security number but asked for my birthdate. I am afraid they are trying to steal my identity because my father just passed away a few weeks ago and this has happened to 2 of my friends.

left message on my sisters phone going to serve me papers to call 405-328-6827

- West Mifflin, PA, USA • Sep 23, 2024

On September 22, 2024,

A woman called me and left a voicemail stating that her name was

"Nia baily"

She claimed to be a "state locator" and she stated that my social security number and name was tied to a document for a process server to come and serve me to my home or my work address.

The woman directed me to call this phone number in which they stated belonged to the mediation office of Lisa Rojas

855-769- 0159

The call originated from this phone number

888-974-3301

I reverse checked both of the phone numbers and they do not exist with any business name or a person's name attached to it.

He’s a paralegal posing as a process server. He charges to serve court documents after payment he says no proof of service and then eventually blocks you

Received a call from a "Joe Garcia", regarding my daughter. He claimed he was an independent courier trying to serve papers. She only had until 3pm today to contact the filing party or legal proceedings would go on without her. I gave no information but called the number that "Joe" provided, 844-654-0934. It went to a voicemail message that instructed me to leave a direct phone number. I'm assuming they were expecting my daughter to call and were trying to get her phone number.

I received a call from 814-966-1031, didn't answer the call, but this is the voicemail the so-called business left me:

"Hello this message is for [name]. My name is Bruce Eckford. I am calling to inform you that this is your official notification. You have been placed on my schedule to be served court-filled documents. You will be served at your place of residence or place of employment and we need to provide your signature and two forms of identification. Received a call saying that they were looking to contact my husband (used his full name). When I asked who they were, they stated that they were a "process server" for Allegheny County (PA). They told me that they had been trying to contact him and he needed to address a legal matter and provided a docket number. He told me that "sometimes it can all be resolved with just a phone call" to which he provided me with the following number to have my husband call (877-441-7638). Because I work in the criminal justice field and I know my husband, I was skeptical, so I looked up the docket number that they provided online and searched by name for civil and criminal proceeding to which there was no info found. I then googled the phone number and info from the ScamPulse.com stated that this is a scam going around. I blocked the number from my phone.

A man with a heavy accent called to let me know that I was going to be served within the next 30 min and asked if I would be home. I told him I was not and then he gave me a phone number to call 866-609-9983 and case #2024039059 and that I needed to call immediately and that he could wait to serve me for 60 minutes

Left the following voicemail

“Hello, this message is intended for “name” My name is Bruce Eckford. This is your official notification that you have been placed on my schedule to be served courts sale documents. You will be served either at your place of employment or place of residence At that time , a signature and two forms of identification will need to be presented More questions or to place a stop action press one to connect to an operator or contact your filing party at 4 0 5- 3 2 8- 6 8 0 7…”

received the following voicemail from phone number ###-###-####: "I am calling to speak with ***********. This is Desiree Adams with the civil dispatch department calling to notify you that we will be issuing out your order to appear in court coming out of Polk county. Now, two attempts will be made out to your residence of of Norris Lake Court and/or last place of employment. For further details or changed service status contact legal firm immediately at ###-###-#### referencing your case number 2***-**-****. ********* you have been notified."

I called the ###-###-#### number, and this is their automated recording: "You've reached an unmonitored line with Process Servers Dispatch. If you're returning a call regarding certified legal documents our for service today, please review your voicemail. If you need immediate assistance from the firm handling this issue, press 1 now." If you press 1, it redirects to that call center with the (844) area code.

I spoke with multiple people. They said there was a lawsuit filed against my father, David Titus. I asked which county, as I looked in my county and his county, and there are no records of any legal proceedings. One man hung up on me twice; he said I was ridiculous, that my father was being sued, and to pass along this information to my father. I said I wanted to make sure this wasn't a scam, which county was the lawsuit in, and he hung up. I tried calling again to speak to a supervisor and the person on the line laughed at me, I told them I was reporting them to the FBI and FCC and he said "you do that" and then he hung up. They sounded like they had New York accents.

My concern is that my father is elderly (72 years old) and I don't want him to fall victim if they try to reach out to him. I did warn him not to answer his phone. I did not give this company any information about myself or my father. I have no idea how they even knew ***** T******Legal was my father. This is clearly some type of scam.

Person calls repeatedly to me and family members stating they will serve me papers at my place or word etc. They have become harassing

- Clearwater, FL, USA • Feb 05, 2024

Similar experience. Caller from Dispatch claimed representing National Process Service informing we are being sued for an old 15 year debt and a lien is being placed placed on a property we never resided in or owned in New York. Wanted us to speak to its lawyer at 844 344 4835 .

- Charleroi, PA, USA • Jan 18, 2024

This is a continuation from November, 2023. There was a gap in December but now it's started again. It was definitely an Indian accent. Said he was an Official Process Server. Mumbled out some case number. Gave me an 855 number to call, which of course I didn't. Said they needed to serve papers that needed signed for and not calling the number would results in even more dire consequences. These calls have been reported to the local detective and he said there's nothing they can do. Just ignore them But now it's just getting harassing, leaving messages. I'm old and sick and don't need this.
